After meeting Chris, I rang up Dad. He hadn't spoken to Colin yet. I told him that Chris wasn't angry or anything; in fact, he was in the film. He sounded extra happy hearing that bit.

Soon, Wednesday and Thursday rolled by, and up came Friday.

A nice 17th January 2014 morning, I woke up, ready and refreshed for this experience. Jurassic World was going to be epic. I just had to keep myself from being nervous. I succeeded quite a lot in that field.

The past 2 days though, I couldn't deny that the lack of conversation between me and Seth seemed to make us drifting apart from each other. We didn't have any arguments, and I didn't cry, but what was better was that the kids didn't ask us why we didn't talk much now.

At around 10, I rushed to Universal Studios. There, I reached the script reading place. And even bumped into an old friend.

"Hey Judy!"

"Hey Bryce!"

I and Judy Greer had been friends since ever we were in 2004's The Village, as the co-leads along with Joquain Phoenix.

"So good to see you!" I exclaimed. "10 years, Judy!"

"Yeah, I'm so excited. But wait.. where's your partner?"

I seemed puzzled.

She laughed, and said, "I mean, your partner in the film."

I was about to respond, when the opening of a door answered my question. Well, as well as the person who walked through it.

Chris looked stunningly handsome, and I may have had fallen over if I hadn't kept myself in control.

"Hello Bryce. Mrs. Greer, pleasure to meet you."

"Please," she said. "Call me Judy."

We bursted out in laughter, and then we were called by Colin for the reading.

Soon, we went through the scenes. Soon, we were through with the scenes where I and Simon Masrani (played by Irrfan Khan. We miss him so much.. may his soul rest in peace) have a talk in one of the enclosures.

We soon had a lunch break, and as everyone was leaving, I saw Chris at the door.

"You not going?" I asked him.

"No, it's just, I was waiting for you," he replied. God, he's so sweet.

"Thanks."

We made our way out. Chris headed in an opposite direction though.

"We aren't going with 'em?" I asked.

"No, I told Colin that I'd be having lunch elsewhere," he said, "and, with you if you wanted to."

"Sure," I said with a smile.

We got into the car. My phone rang. Seth.

"Hello?" I said, disinterested.

"Bryce, where are you please?"

"I'm at the reading for Jurassic World. I'm just having lunch with my co-star."

"Excuse me, what? With whom?"

"Why do you care, I'm not the one who cheated-"

Oh crap. I said that out loud, didn't I?

I just hung up. Chris looked scared, you could say that.

"I'm sorry."

"Hey, you don't have to be," he replied, reassuring me. I smiled, and wiped some tears that were forming in my eyes.

He saw me, and decided to do something.

"You know, uh.. how about we talk instead of lunch?"

I nodded quietly. He stopped the car, in a place where virtually no one was present. I was glad that I had a friend who understood privacy.

I just sobbed into him. He held me in his arms, and just smoothened my skin to reassure me.

"It's.. it's gonna be okay Bryce," he said softly.

"I know, I just.. felt so bad that he didn't go to that party with me, but with someone else, and-"

"Hold on.. he was the one you saw?"

He had noticed.

"Y-Yeah."

My crying just increased, but his grip on me was no different. He just stayed in that hug to reassure me, and God, I couldn't be more grateful, cause I had found an old friend, and a new.
