"Anything changed?"
"No not yet sir."
"We will be able to move her out of the ICU by the end of today then."
"Gladly. But Doctor, can I have you take a look at something? I noticed it while changing her gown."
"Oh dear. That doesn't look good. Has her family said anything about-"
"Nothing at all. Not that I've been able to ask much of anything when they're around."
"Kanu, please, focus. How new are they?"
"A little scabbed by now but I have a feeling they were pretty new when she came in. There are older ones too. I found some other scars."
"Where?"
"Thighs, ankles, stomach, the usual."
"We can't do anything about it until she wakes. Page me if anything changes."
