"He's leaving Richard. When she wakes up, he's leaving and he's taking her with him."
Sighs and places a hand on her shoulder. "Baby, this is what we've been waiting for! You can finally get out of your marriage and openly date me."
"I know. It's just... he's taking Caroline with him. And that means that he's taking me away from my little girl."
"Natalee... she's not so little anymore."
"I know." She sighs sadly, and looks away from the bed. "Could you leave us alone for a moment?"
He nods his head and walks out of the room and down the hall towards a lone vending machine.
"I know I wasn't the greatest mother. I wasn't as supportive as I could've been. And I shut you out when you needed me the most. I'm sorry. I know you'd probably jump at the chance of going and living with your father... but I want you to know that I love you. And I just want you to be happy. And you're not just a stupid child."
Gets up and walks across the room. "A boy came by earlier. Told me to tell you he was finally get out of here, whatever that meant. He also said to remember to look him up. He was cute... I hope you do."
