Security dragged him down the hall with him screaming profanities the whole way.
"I sure am thankful I came to visit today. Did you miss me Coma Girl?"
He smiled a little but couldn't hide the sad look in his eyes.
"I was talking with Nurse Kanu when I saw him. She was talking to me about you actually. I learned that your name is Caroline. And you got hit by a train. I... I also heard that it was an attempt at suicide. Why would a pretty girl like you want to end her life?"
He stifled a sob, but the loud noise escaping his lips.
"I won't try and understand it... but I will respect it. It pains me to think of anyone as being that sad, but it must happen, right? It makes me want to be the one who would be here for you. I know that I barely know you. But if I had the chance, I would do everything in my power to make sure that you were happy."
"If that douche comes again, I will punch him. Don't think that I won't. But I'll come back again in a few days. Wait for me?"
He chuckled sadly and kissed her forehead before leaving her room.
