"That was... it was... how did you even know how to do that?" Delimari said, still stunned. No Mage in Averia has ever figured out how to look into the past.
"Well being the Light Guardian of Averia comes with some advantages." He said as he smiled. "But now I have seen what was lost, but thankfully it wasn't found yet." His smile faded but he still looked relieved that it wasn't found.
"The Heart." Delimari got up now as she still thought as to why was the Heart so important that Ulefro wanted it so badly after all this time, and how did Cookie even understand it when she can't. Is it really that powerful? Was it worth it for her Mother dying over it?
"I know what you're thinking. But I assure you the Heart is important. You just gotta find it's power yourself and you will see what it really means." He said.
"But what if I can't find it like you said I will?" She said frustratedly.
"I don't believe you can. I know you can Delimari, you just gotta summon it to you, but this time when you do, think about something that you love while doing it."
She didn't know why it was important to him as she can never make it appear, but if it'll make him happy then she'll at least try to summon it. "I'll... think about it, but no promises."
"Good. That's all I needed to know. Now it's best I let you go back into the real world now." He then shined his staff and then the next thing she knew, she woke up from her bed as it was still night while Cookie purred in her sleep as Delimari moved up.
Then Delimari decided to go back to sleep while thinking over the conversation she had with the Guardian.

Delimari awoke from her hammock along with the others as they had work to do, like taking inventory as Captain Half Elf was busy plotting out where they were and where they would be going next.
Delimari was helping out on the deck by cleaning the blood spots and many other spots of blood from last night with brushes and buckets of water with the other crew, Cookie was inside and outside the ship roaming around which was fine to Delimari as long as she wasn't near the edge of the ship.
Today Delimari even got to officially get a better look at the ship they were on as well. It was an Elven made ship as she could tell with how Elf pine looked with its tan color. The ship had a Captain's cabin and a wheel at the top made from a gold coloring and described in Dark Elf language that probably said "Pride of the Sea". Then there was the sails in colored in black and with a New Averia logo in them that was the sword of "Honor" "More like murder." She thought.
Then finally the name of the ship was the worst one she had ever heard. "The Royalty Slayer". This ship was definitely made to intimidate its foes in battle, but to Delimari the name was just sickening to her.
"So... how have you been from last night?" A voice said as Delimari saw who it came from breaking her train of thought and that it was from the nice green Lizard that she really needed to know his name.
"Doing good... besides from the fact that all Hell broke loose with volleys of arrows coming straight at you." She added that last part sarcastically.
The green lizard chuckled a little. "Yeah, better than a bunch of: "'Oh I'm so big and a strong soldier! I'll swing my big sword and kill you!'"
This surprisingly made Delimari laugh too.
"So uhh I never got your name after that escape. What's your name?"
Delimari felt like not saying her actual name to him but she felt like she could trust him. "Alyosa. That's my name." But still she couldn't trust him that completely.
"Nice name. Mine's Dunnames." He said as he kept on scrubbing a really hard blood stain.
Delimari got back to work herself but she decided to ask him a question that popped up in her head. "Say, where are we going now? Now that this ship is on the run and we are probably marked for death, what happens now?"
He stopped to think for a moment. "Well from what I heard from the Captain over there, that the only place we're heading too is east, where a small fishing village is. Other than that I don't really know. Plus I got to leave for a place by myself."
"Really? And where will you go?" Delimari asked.
"Well I gotta look for someone. A friend of mine who helped me a lot. I think he landed in Lordsdale thanks to New Averia."
"How did he end up in New Averia's hands?" Delimari asked.
"Unfortunately we were ambushed on our ship by New Averia. Some of the crew were killed trying to fight off the ambush, but unfortunately our numbers were outmatched as some of us that surrendered, including me, were all taken into slavery by New Averia and separated, my friend included." He said as he stopped what he was doing and looked like he relived a terrible memory.
"Sorry for asking that if it made you feel uncomfortable." Delimari apologized, as she knew how that felt.
"Oh no no. You're fine. Well looks like we got out as much as we can. Better wrap it up and see what else we can do." He said as he got up and dumped the water from the bucket off the side of the ship.
Delimari did the exact same thing as he did and got to work doing something else with Dunnames instead.
After that long day Delimari felt exhausted and just got face first into the hammock but she couldn't sleep, for some reason, what the guardian said has been really bugging her. She felt like something was calling her way back to her.
She got up making Cookie moan as she was deep asleep as Delimari walked up to the ship's deck and was at the edge of the railing, looking down at the water as the ship was anchored for the night.
Delimari reached out her hand and just felt a wave of memories hit her. She was reminded of how happy she and her mother were once when they were camping. This one time she and her mother caught a ton of fish by putting a lightning spell in the water. (of course her mother made the lightning spell as that was master class magic to learn.)
Then all of a sudden something flew into the palm of her hand and flew so hard and fast that Delimari was swept off her feet and landed on her back with a thud sound.
She then got up and opened the palm of her hand to reveal the Heart.
Delimari was stunned at what happened. For the first time ever, the Heart listened to her and it was actually magic.
Delimari then saw a light turn on in the Captain's cabin. "Crud! Gotta go!" She immediately went back down to the ship and got back in her bed pushing Cookie to the side and pretended to sleep for a while until she actually fell asleep.
