I was eating breakfast as I heard Niall get out of the guest room, 'morning' he says walking into the kitchen

'Morning sleepyhead, I made waffles' I say handing him a plate

'Thanks, they look amazing' he says 'thanks again for letting me spend the night here, I really appreciate it'

'Yeah no problem' I reply 'so, what's your plan to get your girl back?'

'I don't know' he says taking a bite off of the waffel 'I think I'll just go home and see what happens'

'Wow seems like you have a master plan' I say laughing 'well I'm meeting up with my friend in an hour but I can drop you off at your place on the way'

'Yeah that would be great thanks!'

'Okay well I'm gonna go get dressed then' I say as I walk into my room

I hop into the shower and pick out an outfit, it's a sunny day so I pick out a purple crop top with some jeans and my white vans, I throw on my outfit and put on some mascara and I'm ready to go

'You ready Niall?' I ask walking into the living room where he's sitting in the couch

'Yup, let's go' he says standing up

I grab my keys and we walk out the door, we get into the elevator down to the garage and get into my car

'You still remember where I live?' Niall asks me

'Of course I do, how could I forget' I say smiling at him As I drive off

After about 20 minutes we arrive at Niall's place 'thanks for the ride' he says getting out

'No problem, let me know how it goes'

'I will, have fun with your friend' he says closing the door

I drive off and after about 10 minutes I arrive at the Starbucks me and Alissa are supposed to meet up at

Alissa and I have been bestfriends ever since I moved to LA, she used to work for my management and she was one of the first people I ever met when I moved to LA

I walk into the Starbucks and immediately spot he sitting at a table by the window, I walk over to her 'hey sorry I'm late, I had to drop Niall off at his place' I say sitting down

'Hey, why did you have to drop him off?' She asks 'oh and by the way I ordered your usual'

'Thanks, and I had to drop him off cause he spend the night at my place' I say 'him and his girlfriend got into some argument and she needed space so he gave her space'

'So this Niall who I'm guessing you have a crush on decided it would be smart that when his girlfriend asks him for space he goes to some other chicks house?'

'I guess, and I do not have a crush on him, we are just friends' I say 'and besides, he has a girlfriend'

'Oh you obviously have a crush on him, look at how you're smiling like an idiot talking about him' she says as the waitress puts out coffees down

'Okay I might think he's a little cute but he would never like me anyways so it's not important'

'Ha I knew it' she says 'and you never know, there's a chance he'll like you back, I mean after all he did decide to call the girl he's known for maybe a week after his girl got mad at him instead of just calling one of his friends that he's known way longer'

'Can we just drop it, me and Niall are just friends, nothings ever gonna happen' I say

'If you say so'

After talking for an hour we both go our own ways, as I get into my car I hear my phone ding, it's Niall

'Hey, did you have fun with your friend?' The text says

'Yeah I did, how did it go?' I reply back

'Shit, we broke up' he says

'Oh I'm so sorry'

'It's fine, I knew it wasn't gonna last, it's better this way'

'You want me to bring you some ice cream?' I ask

'Yes please'

'Alright I'll be there in a little' I say as I drive off

I drive to the nearest target and buy some Ben&jerry's ice cream, I get back into the car and drive to Nialls house, I get out of the car and ring the door bell

'Hey' he says opening the door and pulling me into a hug

'Hey, I got ice cream' I say smiling at him

'Yay, my favorite' he says closing the door behind me

'So what happened?' I ask as we sit down on the couch

'Well, once I arrived home this morning she had all her stuff packed so I asked her why and she basically said that this isn't working out and she needs to move on so we broke up'

'Aw I'm sorry Ni' I say opening the ice cream

'I'll get over it, this is for the best' he says 'anyways, do you wanna watch a movie?'

'Yeah ofcourse, you can pick'

He picks out the movie ghostbusters and somehow during the movie we ended up cuddling

After the movie I get into my car to go home and I can't stop think about what Alissa said, she wasn't right right? I didn't have crush on Niall did I? I can't, we're just friends, he wouldn't like me anyways. As I'm driving home I cannot stop thinking, my mind is all over the place I can't get feelings for this guy, I'll just end up getting hurt again, I think as I get out of the car and walk up to my apartment we're just friends, it's for the best
