"Are you serious!?" I yell walking towards him.
He pauses with a blank face before I break a smile. His grin makes my smile grow as I jump into his arms and he swings me around.
"Oh my god!" I squeal.
"So you will?" He asks setting me down.
I nod frantically making him jump around.
"This is the best day ever!" He yells.
I giggle as he hits his hands against the wall on accident. He glares at me playfully before hugging me again.
"So we'll pack your things tomorrow." He snakes his arms around my waist.
I nod, "Yep."
"You're beautiful." He compliments.
"Thank you, so are you." I joke.
He kisses my forehead before plopping onto the couch.
"Aren't we going to go back?" I ask.
"You want to drive this late at night for an hour?" He asks.
I shake my head and sit next to him. He clicks on the TV and we begin the first night in our apartment.
The next day Ben helps me bring my stuff over and I do the same for him. We settle in quickly but I find myself missing mother number two. My aunt. I call her almost everyday and we visit on the weekends. Ben seems free-er than usual which is pleasant to see. With his dad no longer contacting him, he's happy. My mom, of course, wasn't happy to hear I was moving out from with my aunt. I didn't give a shit about what she thought. When I sit in our bed with Ben asleep next to me I pull out my book I had oh so long ago. Rolling my eyes I take out my pen and check things off.
Move - Check. Check.
Settle in - Check.
Have fun - Check.
Forget - Check.
live on and be free - Check.
Checking my plan off made me realise not everything is going to go your way. And not everything goes according to plan. Even with these things that happen, I managed to make my goals, that makes me happy. Ben is my beautiful mistake, I couldn't be happier for.
