y/n's pov

after i finished brushing my teeth, i went straight to bed and just laid there, staring at my ceiling. i grabbed my phone from my nightstand and texted mattia.

mattia polibio
y/n

mattia
lmfao of course
how're you feeling now?

y/n
it's just hard sleeping on my bed.
since it was where it all happened..

mattia
you can sleepover if you want

y/n
no it's fine
if i want things to go back to normal
then i have to sleep in my own room lmao

mattia
does "normal" include us going
back to hating each other?

y/n
it doesn't have to

mattia

y/n

i knew you never really hated me

mattia
stfu i thought i already made that clear

y/n
wasn't clear enough until now

mattia
you're saying me sleeping
with you at the party didn't make
it clear?

y/n

mattia

y/n
wouldn't you like that

mattia
yeah ❤️

y/n
goodnight.

mattia
LMFAO
goodnight
seen

i smile and shut off my phone and turn to my side. i closed my eyes and forced myself to fall asleep, no matter how uncomfortable i was.

the next day

"hey, where'd you disappear to yesterday?" nicole asked me.

"oh i wasn't feeling well so i skipped the rest of school," i lied.

"is that that why you didn't answer our texts?" said katie.

"yeah i wasn't on my phone," i answered. "i'm gonna start walking to class, i'll see you guys at lunch."

"okay bye." they both gave me a small wave and i walk away.

as i was about to walk into my first period class, someone pulled me in before i could take another step.

"hey," mattia smiled.

"dude, don't do that," i said breathing heavily. "i thought you were someone else."

"shit my bad," his smile faded.

"it's fine," i let out a small laugh. he sat on the edge of the table and put his hands on my waist. i raise my eyebrow. "what're you doing?"

"nothing," he says innocently. all of a sudden he pulled me closer to him.

"mattia," i say sternly. "not right now, what if someone sees us? and you still have jenna to deal with-"

"you talk too much." he moves his head forward making his lips centimeters away from mine. but we heard footsteps coming just as the bell rang.

i immediately pull away from him when students started entering the classroom. mattia had a little smirk on his face before he took a seat at our table.

"we can continue that later," he whispered.

lunch

i dropped off my books at my locker before heading to my lunch table. when i close my locker door i saw someone standing behind it.

"can we talk," dylan asked.

my breathing escalated as i tried walking away but he grabbed my forearm lightly.

"please," he begged. "just for a minute."

i rub my lips together before answering. "what?"

"i'm so sorry about what happened the other night," he said. "i was drunk and i didn't know what i was doing and i'm so sorry. i got jealous of mattia and i acted out in a bad way."

"i told you repeatedly to stop," i mumbled.

"i know," he took a deep breath. "i didn't even know i could become that person or even be like that. but it won't happen again, i promise."

"yeah it won't happen again cause we're officially done." i shove past him but he grabbed my arm again.

"y/n don't do this please, i swear i'll fix myself, i'll do anything you want to me to," he pleaded. "just don't end this."

"i don't love you anymore," i raise my voice. "the rest of my feelings died that night."

"you don't mean that," he shakes his head.

"i do," i confirm. "now let me go."

"i'm not losing you again," he argued.

"you already have," i shout.

"hey," i heard a familiar voice call us. this was the last thing i needed.

i turn around and saw mattia walking towards us. "i was just leaving," i say.

"so why are his fucking hands on you," mattia asked.

dylan let go of my arm. "do you mind? we were having a conversation."

"didn't look like she wanted to have one," mattia replied. "but then again you don't know when enough is enough do you?"

"don't do this right now," i whispered to him. "let's just walk away like how you wanted." i tug on his arm but he didn't move.

"what's that suppose to mean?" dylan crossed his arms.

"you know what is means," mattia responded strictly.

"i don't know what you think you know, but it doesn't concern you," dylan took a step closer to him. "you should've just kept walking."

"nah cause the thing is i don't trust you to be alone with a girl."

"that's enough." i grabbed mattia's arm and pulled him back.

"you're a little bitch polibio," dylan chuckled.

"least i never forced a girl to do anything she doesn't wanna do," mattia shot back.

before i could react, dylan threw a punch at mattia and mattia threw one back. both them got a couple good hits at each other but mattia was going too far.

"mattia stop," i tried getting him off of dylan . "guys don't do this right now."

"hey!" roger shouted. he yanked mattia up and waited until dylan got back on his feet. he tried charging at mattia again but roger held him back. "enough. you two, go to my office. now."
