⠀⠀⠀ EVERYONE HAS SOMETHING TO HIDE AND THE JEDI ORDER WAS NO EXCEPTION. Obi Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker would always close their eyes upon the obvious around their affiliation, simply following the orders of the Council. Yet, both of the Jedi wanted to know what exactly was hidden from them.
"What took you so long?" Obi Wan asked, a bit irritated with his Padawan at the driver seat of the speeder.
"Oh, you know Master, I couldn't find a speeder that I liked," Anakin replied, voice filled with amusement.
"There he is!" The Jedi Master did not have time to form a reply as he saw the bounty hunter before them escape, pointing at the speeder of their.
"With the open cockpit and the right speed capabilities," the Padawan continued.
"If you spent as long practicing your saber techniques as you do your wit," Obi Wan began his remark, "you would rival Master Yoda as a swordsman,"
"I thought I already did," Anakin scoffed.
"Only in your mind, my very young apprentice," Obi Wan managed to say as Anakin began manoeuvring over shuttles and speeders before them, trying to not lose the path of the bounty hunter. But it was not for long before their speeder was falling down towards the deeper levels of Coruscant, passing through the endless roads at the sky. Obi Wan was not a fan of Anakin's driving and always stayed alert while the younger was piloting, he truly hated it.
"Pull up, Anakin," the Jedi Master suddenly shouted seeing them near the roof of a building, "pull up!"
Twisting his face with annoyance, Obi Wan let out a breath he did not know he held, "you know I don't like it when you do that,"
"Sorry Master, I forgot you don't like flying," Anakin smiled gently while his attention was still on the roads before them, searching for the speeder of the bounty hunter.
"I don't mind flying, but what you're doing is suicide!" The Jedi Master protested, proving his point to the stubborn Padawan of his.
Anakin stayed silent as they neared the industrial area of the city, following the man who was responsible for attempting an assassination of Padmé Amidala. The assassin shot out of his blaster into the power couplings before them which caused a power cut, electric charges emitting from it, creating an obstacle for the speeder of the Jedi.
"Anakin! How many times have I told you, stay away from power couplings!" The Jedi Master shouted, clearly mad. But he did not expect that the younger Jedi would avoid the electrical charges as well, "that was good,"
"Where are you going? He went that way," Obi Wan protested when he saw him get away and hide in the tunnel which was built through the tall skyscraper while their speeder did not change the direction in which they rode in.
