— OUTER RIM TERRITORIES
⠀⠀⠀ IT WAS STRANGE FALLING ASLEEP IN ONE PLACE AND THEN FINDING YOURSELF IN ANOTHER. Milada on the other hand was aware as to why she was now in her old room in the castle. Obi Wan must've brought her there while she was still asleep and perhaps it was for the best as she didn't have to face him at times like these.
He was aware of her affair with Dana and he also knew that she had killed the Galacian, but then he also dared to kiss her in the speeder before he brought her to Galu. She decided that it was alright now. Or was it? Realising that she now has to spend days with the conquerors and murderers of her world and father, she felt warm tears pour down her cheeks without being aware.
She sighed and her face fell into the soft pillow of her bed as she helplessly cried into it. The sunlight burned her open skin a little and it hit her that she was wearing a nightgown. Obi Wan also changed her. She was a bit saddened that he did not wake her up as soon as he took her to her chambers but Milada knew he wouldn't dare to do so as she really needed time to recover.
A knock on the door echoed and she abruptly sat up, running towards the door, hopeful it was the Jedi who came to see her. Opening the door, her face paled as she was met with a sight of a Phindian male who only smirked at her, pushing the door open as she took steps back, almost falling.
"Well hello, princess Milada," he began, closing the door shut and locking it as he turned back to her and began approaching her as she backed towards her bed, "I knew this gown would look gorgeous on you,"
Her eyes widened. So it was him who changed her? How dare he do such thing! This is outrageous, he was no one to her.
"Where are my manners," he chuckled, closing his eyes a little, "Jyu Poal at your service," he bowed, mimicking the royal manners, "and I am the king of Gala,"
"You will never be a king," Milada said through gritted teeth.
"Of course," he agreed, "but a marriage with you will ensure that I will become one," he walked over to her, stopping a few centimetres before her.
Milada's first instinct was to throw her fist which collided with his chest and he stumbled behind at the contact, clutching where she had hit him. Immediately, she ran over to her balcony, back on the tall pillar as he straightened his back but remained on the same place.
"So we are choosing the hard way," Jyu mumbled and turned to the princess who was outside of her chamber, hands at his side as he swiftly walked over to her and she ran to another direction before he could near her, "I advise you to not run away from faith, darling,"
"Do not call me that!" She screamed, running back to her room as he was now on the balcony and she ran to the drawer by her bed, opening it and pulling out a blaster, "dare to come near me and I shall shoot you!"
He froze, eyes wide from fear. He did not bring a weapon to see her and realised it was a big mistake as he couldn't intimidate her while she on the other hand, held onto the blaster which was pointed directly at his head. Rising his hands above his head, he spoke, "I will leave you alone for now if you put away the blaster as I walk out,"
She contemplated her options. Milada wanted to shoot him now but then she knew it will be smart if she patiently waited for the right moment to strike and gain the power back as well as the planet, wanting to restore its beauty which was lost, "leave," she simply said and he nodded.
Scurrying out of the room, he unlocked it, looking back at the princess with a small smile, he disappeared behind the door as it shut behind him. She was now finally alone in her room, putting the blaster in a different cabinet as she knew he would send someone to retrieve the weapon, hiding it, she walked to the balcony once again, looking at the foggy horizon.
This is not how she expected her first morning back to go — alone, without Obi Wan Kenobi. Sighing, she looked down and saw his ship on the grounds and her face brightened. He did not leave yet! She smiled and rushed to her closet, quickly pulling out her simple golden silk dress and walking to the fresher, cleaning herself.
"What did you do to her?" Jyu asked as he walked into the hall where Obi Wan stood, "she almost killed me!"
"I did not do a thing to her," the Jedi stated, feeling pride take over him upon hearing what she wanted to do.
"She will not be easy to force into marriage," the Phindian male plopped on the throne, "but I need you to convince her to agree for the sake of us both,"
Obi Wan's brows furrowed, "you two?"
"Of course us two! She will get a husband and she will still be the rightful queen while I will be her husband, gaining power over this new world as well," Jyu explained, eyes narrowing at the Jedi before him.
The plan seemed fair but only to Jyu is what Obi Wan concluded, yet no royal marriages were fair. Maybe she would agree if he had spoken to her?
"I will try, but I do not guarantee her saying yes," he stated and bowed a little as the Phindian nodded and made a sign of dismissal with his hand.
Making his way out of the hall, Obi Wan walked over to the inner garden of the palace. Him and Milada would meet there in secret whenever he would visit Gala. There they would get to know each other better and form the attachment which was forbidden by the Jedi Order but Obi Wan was too deep to care and only hid his emotions before his Master and soon over time, his Padawan.
