Everyone looks up at the doorway as Namjoon enters the room after correcting Jimin once again.

"So you've met everyone, I hope Yoongi wasn't too rude to you." He smiles as he shuts the door and walks to the front of the meeting room. "We should probably begin the meeting now, this may be new to you, Ari, but we frequently have missions and this one is a big one, so please pay attention."

Namjoon clicks a few buttons on the wall and a hologram appears at the front of the room.

"Everyone by now knows about the crisis that is going on outside of the city perimeter. People, if we can call them that, are breaking out of camps and being killed as a punishment." He flicks through photos of the prisoners fleeing from camps. "Our mission is to capture them and take them back."

"What?!" They all turn to face me, okay, maybe I shouldn't have said it so loud.

"Yes, Ari?"

"You want to capture them and take them back to the camps, are you insane?" Namjoon looks at me with complete understanding, the others however send me piercing glares.

"I know it sounds like you have to turn on your own people, but these are our orders and they would be a lot safer in the camps than being shot outside of them."

"Safer? Do you even know what goes on inside them?"

"No, what goes on inside them?" Jin asks, concern spreading all over his face and I can tell by the silence in the room that the others are also somewhat curious.

"Everyone is tortured and starved, they even beat us while we eat." I sigh, "The only thing people can do is pray and hope they'll be freed one day."

"They turn to religion." Hoseok nods in understanding, "Were you beaten?"

"Yes, of course, who wasn't? I didn't realise why until I got here, I escaped; you think humans are the most superior race, and you don't want us as a threat."

"You're right, we don't want you as a threat, that's why you're lucky Phuture let you join our team, you should be grateful." Yoongi states, glaring at me.

"I should be grateful? All you want me to do is turn against my own people."

"Ari, this is the mission, we can't change it. If there's anything we can do to help them then we will, but we have to do what we're ordered to do. I hope you understand that." Namjoon sighs, "I hate it as much as you do but we have no choice."

I roll my eyes and sit back in my seat. I'd really rather prefer to be back with those guards being questioned; anything is better than this. Who would ask someone to turn against their own people?

I can feel Taehyung's eyes lingering on me with slight sympathy before his gaze returns to stern and he looks back towards the front of the room.

"So we're going to go to hunt down the main escapees and see how they caused such a ruckus. We will then return them to the main facility where they will be longer held and interrogated." Namjoon says, an image of the main facility appearing on the hologram, "We predict that the ones we are looking for are hiding in run down buildings they could find. We will be going North-East of Eden and searching around the camp there; other teams are searching around the other camps. Once we capture someone we will call for backup that will deliver them to the main facility. Any questions?"

"Do you need me here or out there with you? I suggest I stay back in the vehicle and report to you via earpiece." Hoseok states.

"Yes, that sounds appropriate. Yoongi, you'll stay with him for protection." Namjoon agrees, turning off the hologram and the lights automatically turn back on. "Since no one else had any questions: this is it, let's go."

Namjoon ended up informing us that due to the urgency of this mission there's no time for me to train, so in other words I'm going in clueless.

He said Jungkook would be my main support but I should generally learn combat by watching others; that's his analysis of how my kind learn skills...and he seems pretty damn intelligent so I'll trust him on that.

While we packed everything we needed, I was thankful to have a shower and be given a change of clothes; black skinny jeans, a long-sleeved maroon cropped sweater and a black leather biker jacket. At least the clothes are stylish and clearly Taehyung approved (according to his smug glances).

"Are you hungry?" Jin asks me as we pile into the two vehicles. I nod my head ferociously. "Guys, we need to stop to get some food on the way there."

"Yes, hyung," calls Jungkook from the front passenger seat of the black four-by-four.

"When was the last time you ate?" Jin asks, placing his hand over my forehead,

"I can't remember, I don't know how long I was out for when the tranquillised me. Probably a long time ago."

He nods as Namjoon climbs into the drivers seat and we set off. Hoseok, Yoongi, Jimin and Taehyung are in the other vehicle behind us. After a while we stop for food and then continue on.

"Put this in your ear." Jungkook says, turning around to face me as he passes me an earpiece. He quickly turns back around and begins giving directions to Namjoon.

We arrive in no time and in the distance I can just about make out the camp nearby. We park the vehicles just outside of the abandoned buildings and we climb out of the cars as Hoseok tests our earpieces. "I think we're all set on the technological front. I have the current blueprint of this area so I'll direct you with that. The earpieces have trackers, that's how I'll know where you are."

"Take this." Jimin orders, pushing a small handgun towards me. I hesitate.

"It's okay, Ari, you don't need to use a gun if you would feel better carrying a blade. You need to have some form of defence on you in case an escapee attacks you." Namjoon says, holding out two large, sharp blades. I take them from him. I have a feeling they will be more useful than a gun.

He nods; why does he have so much confidence in me? I could easily turn around and throw one of these at someone in the 'team'.

"After what you said on our way to Phuture, whatever decision you make is most likely to be correct, so I won't force you into anything." Namjoon turns to the others, causing them to all stop and look at him."To let you all know, from now on if any decisions are to be made directly we must run them by Ari first; one of her main capabilities is prediction."

They all nod in agreement and get back to organising their weapons.

"Ari, if you are ever confronted and can only see a gun as a suitable weapon, these bullets are interchangeable." Namjoon faces me once again while handing me a small box of bullets. "The blue are tranquilizers, the red are normal bullets."

I watch in caution and he reaches both hands around me to tie a belt around my waist. He removes the blades from one of my hands and the box from the other before attaching them to the belt, along with the gun I wasn't so keen on.

"Firing a gun is easy. Flick the safety off, aim, pull the trigger." Yoongi demonstrates with his own gun, not pulling the trigger of course. "Jungkook should be there to protect you most of the time, but you should get involved when possible; it's the best way to learn."

And with that he walks off scowling.

"Does he have something against me?" I ask Namjoon as he loads his gun.

"No, he's always like that at the start. Don't be concerned, he'll warm up to you." I look over at his tensed figure."You're a part of our team, he may not be kind to you but he'll look after you for sure."

"Okay, thanks I guess."

"It's alright." He smiles his dimply smile at me and turns to everyone. "Are you all ready to go?"
