"Follow me." Jungkook leads me towards the back of one of the buildings after we receive Namjoon's strict instructions. "We have to be quiet and careful, okay?"

"Okay." I whisper as we continue to sneak down the wall. I run my fingers across the thick stone, feeling the smooth surface crumble away under my touch.

"Stop there, Ari, Jungkook, on your next left there should be a doorway, enter through there and then split upstairs and downstairs." Hoseok's voice echoes through our ears as Jungkook silently pushes open the door. It emits a small creak.

"I'll take upstairs, you take downstairs." Jungkook orders as he heads up the rickety staircase in front of me, "Remember; stay alert and be careful. Shout for me if you need help."

I nod before pushing open the door on my left, I glance around the room, it's practically empty; no cupboards or wardrobes to hide in. "Clear."

It sounds miserable, but looking at this house reminds me of how I could have lived, yet it also reminds me of the loss my people suffered. I'm not sure whether it's those images or whether somethings wrong but I have a small, uneasy feeling in the pit of my stomach.

I move from room to room, seemingly chasing my thoughts.

That's when I find it.

I feel cold seep into me, my heartbeat slows as I analyse what's in front of me. So many emotions. Disgust. Anger. Horror. Sadness. "Jungkook!"

I reach out to touch the child's head, stroke it's small tuft of hair.

It.

Since when do we talk about people like this? They talk about us like this.

"What is it?" Jungkook darts into the room, arriving in a matter of milliseconds. He looks rushed and concerned, as he sees what's in front of me his face pales. He reaches forward to touch the cot.

"Dead." I whisper. "Died recently, I guess he, or she, was abandoned."

"I know this comes a shock to you but we have to keep searching." I look back at him and see his large brown doe eyes staring right back at me, "There's nothing we can do now."

"Are you done with the first house?" Hoseok's voice suddenly chirps into my ear.

"Yes, hyung, it's empty," Jungkook replies gesturing to me to follow as he leads me out, "We'll go to the one opposite."

"Good, good, Namjoon and Jin are west of you. Make sure you don't mistake them for an escapee."

"Don't worry, I won't."

"You doing okay, Ari?"

"Yeah."

"Okay, if you have any problems then tap me in." He says, implying we should tap the side of the earpiece when we want to talk to him, and with that he's gone.

"I think I saw some movement in those house when I was upstairs. Go round the back, I'll go round the front." I nod back at him and move swiftly around the back of the house, ducking at every window.

I carefully sneak inside the house via a small window and check through the crack in the door. I see Jungkook already inside and come into the main area as he moves upstairs. I follow him.

"You take left, I'll take right."

I head to the bedroom on the left where the door is slightly ajar. Toys are scattered all over the floor. Just looking at the battered toys makes me feel empathetic, this whole thing is inhumane. All those children taken and tortured in camps. I know I was born into one but it must be even grimmer if you've already seen the outside world. When I ran I could've been heading for somewhere horrible, but I knew about Eden.
