"Well, what do you want to know?" I ask after a short pause,
"You two are meant to be together - it's obvious, have you kissed yet?"
"Jin." I feel heat rising to my cheeks but try to contain my blush,
"You kissed Taehyungie?!" his face lights up, "Was he a good kisser? I hope I raised him to be a good kisser."
I just nod, seeing Jin's smile grow bigger.
"Have you told each other how you feel?"
"Ah, not really." I sigh, "But he knows and he's quite...obvious about his feelings towards me."
"I see." he begins cleaning my cut, "I saw true pain in his eyes when he had to cut you. I've never seen him so guilty for hurting someone before."
"Jin, you know him best, can I ask you a question?"
"Of course."
"What is Taehyung hiding?" Jin's whole body seems to tense before releasing again in an attempt to hide the truth,
"He's not hiding anything. He's done nothing wrong."
"Are you sure? I see something in him, there's something not quite right. About his mental state. Is he okay?"
"He's fine, he's just recovering from something."
"Recovering? Did someone do something to him?" a million thoughts run through my mind, thousands of possibilities soon becoming negative, "Did he do something to someone?"
Jin winces at the question. He begins wrapping my arm quickly with the bandage, seemingly trying to leave this conversation as quickly as possible.
"Jin, did he hurt someone?" I look into his eyes and his glassy eyes stare back at me.
Murder?
"He's more dangerous than you think, Ari, but he's-he's overcoming what he used to be like. He's a good man, he would never want to hurt you. Never."
I don't believe him.
Taehyung is clearly mentally unstable and has been in the past. His subtle insanity is probably a warning sign that I've just been ignoring all this time. What did he do in the past? Why did he murder people?
"Does Taehyung love me?"
Jin leans further forward to place his hands cupping my face. "Yes."
I sigh before standing up along with Jin who's looking slightly panicked. Maybe he doesn't feel comfortable talking about Taehyung's past but I have to find out somehow. If you're going to encourage me into a relationship with someone then surely I have a right to know about them?
"Let's go, I think the boys will be in the lounge, probably eating a mass of food which we're currently missing out on." Jin beckons me to follow him as we make our way to the lounge area.
"Wh-"
"Ari, I've told you a lot already, and you can probably figure some stuff out for yourself. I shouldn't have told you anything to begin with, all you need to know is that Taehyung is in love with you and no matter what you find out about him, you manage to keep him sane."
I nod as we enter the room; spying the boys spread out on the sofas eating a huge amount of food.
"Hey," I say as we approach, only for me to be pulled onto Taehyung's lap, his arms wrapping around my waist to hold me tightly.
"Is your arm okay?" he pulled me even closer to examine my arm. "I'm so so sorry, baby."
"It's fine, Taehyung, we'll just need to change the bandages now and then." Jin says sitting next to Namjoon and beginning to shove food into his mouth.
So handsome even when guzzling down food.
Although I just confessed to loving these derps the atmosphere still seems quite awkward. I shift my gaze towards Tae who's already looking back at me.
"Can we talk in private?"
