I vanish from my position excruciatingly quickly, disappearing behind more and more boxes until I make my way to the front.

I'm honestly surprised Yoongi didn't shoot.

I slide behind a large stack of crates before I lean over the top, checking to make sure I'm out of view. Pulling the gun out, I aim at the man at the front of the room.

I have to shoot him dead centre between the eyes, if I don't then the angle of the shot will give my position away.

I load my gun and aim, glancing quickly behind me through the gaps in the crates. Yoongi and Namjoon are moving slowly towards me.

Better do this quickly.

I check my aim for the last time before I pull the trigger, his body slamming into the ground as the lines of men fall silent in shock.

I don't know who that guy was, but anyone working for Mr. G has a death sentence. Even me and Taehyung.

At first I'm comforted by the silence before the men start turning around and looking for the guilty party. I feel thick arms wrap around my waist and pull me down against the floor. "What the f-"

"Be quiet." I recognise the voice as Namjoon and instantly feel a little safer than before. "Follow me, we're going to head out the back exit."

He kneels and pulls me up backwards so I'm sitting up. I look around in search for Yoongi and our eyes meet. I've never seen someone so mad. He's livid.

"Let's go," he releases my body from his grip before grabbing my wrist and leading me elsewhere. We make it close to what seems to be an exit with Yoongi metres behind us, ensuring we can't be seen and any guards that see us can be taken down.

"Run across there and hide behind that wall, when they see you I'll restrain them. Yoongi has the rest from there." Namjoon gestures at Yoongi to move further forwards.

"Okay," I nod, he nods back at me and I run towards the exit, I hear one of the guards yell but it's hardly noticeable over the other shouting men.

In a matter of seconds his yell is cut off by what I presume to be either a wild Yoongi or a tactful Namjoon. I make it to the wall and look back.

Wild Yoongi.

The man is now lying on the floor with a bullet wound through his skull.

Well shit, that could've been me if Yoongi had actually shot me.

"Come on, Yoongi will catch up with us." Namjoon reaches me and we walk out of our hiding spot, heading out of the exit which appears to be guard-free.

We run as far as we can, the yelling of the guards echoing down the passage. "Where are we going?"

"There's a separate staircase up the side of this tunnel, we can take it to above ground. Then we can get back to the Phuture complex."

I sigh, wondering if there's any way I could escape Phuture, stop being held captive.

"Quickly, it's this way."

I mean, I have a gun. I have ammo. I have skills and training. I know the weak points and I'm in a position targets would envy.

What's stopping me?

Loyalty?

I don't need that.

Fear?

Nope.

Love?

Well. They always say if you love someone then they'll find you. I just don't care to think about the circumstances they may find me in.

Namjoon grabs my arm, pulling me towards a staircase on the right. We head up it and towards a door where we see light coming from. Daylight.

In one swift move Namjoon rams open the door and pulls me out before letting go of my arm. I look around and see we're in a small alleyway.

Am I going to do this?

This is my chance.

I have to.

I need to.

Namjoon looks at me with confusion and, moments before my heart overpowers my brain, a look of dread washes over his face.

I make a break for it, my legs running with as much force as physically possible.

This is it.
