I awoke in a cold sweat, shaking with terror as my dreams came rushing back to me. Pulling the covers off my sweaty body, I sat up wiping sweat from my forehead. The dream felt so real, like a memory. I shook my head trying to push the dream from my mind. I grabbed my cell phone to check the time. 5:30.
Ugh. Time to get a shower to get ready for morning classes. Stripping off my clothes I grabbed my towel and went to my bathroom across from my bedroom. Turning the water to a warm temperature, I thought back to my dream.
Why did it feel so real? Why did it feel like a memory?
"Pull it together, Aleigha. Quit freaking out over a stupid dream."
Putting my towel on the towel rack, I shook my head at my ridiculousness. I let the water shower down on me cleaning off the sweat from my body.
I quickly washed and got out of the shower. I stood in front of my wired robe and decided on simple black leggings with a pink shirt sleeve top. Pulling in my white sparkly sandals I grabbed my backpack and car keys and headed downstairs.
I arrived to class 20 minutes early, so I sat in my car. My dream still pushed its way to the front of my head.
