"Come on piggy, how long are you planning to give me the silent treatment" ? Wesley whines as I grab the necessary books I need for my next class. I continue to pretend like he is invisible as I was still upset at the prank he did on last week.

"How could you be so heartless" Wesley says shoving his face closer to mine. I hold back a smile as he shoots me a cute puppy face look. I wasn't going to give in that easily, so I continued avoiding his gaze.

"Fine... I guess I'll just.... have to buy my own double fudge vanilla chocolate ice cream" he says rather temptingly. I shut my locker before walking down the hall to class. He instantly runs in front of me walking backwards.

"Come on piggy! Tallllllk toooo meeeee" he begs grabbing my arms to stop me from walking. He pulls me closer shoving his face in my neck. I held back a giggle as he struggled to snuggle me due to him being so tall.

I looked at my watch to see I had about five minutes to get to class. I push him away lightly and he gasps dramatically. "I.... can't believe you would do this me.... to us" ! He fake cries.

I blush red at how loud he is being. I place a finger on my lips signaling for him to be quiet. "NO I'M NOT GONNA BE QUIET UNTIL YOU TALK TO ME"! He screams even louder causing other students to glance our way.

"Wesley! Stop it right now or else I'll really stop talking to you for good" I whisper with a frown. He sends me a large grin his hazel eyes shining with mischief.

"You just spoke to me, that's all I really wanted. I love you piggy" he says ruffling my hair. I slap his hands away with a roll of my eyes. I get class two minutes late thanks to him which  almost resulted in me receiving another attention.

As the day moved on lunch finally came round. I sat sipping on some blood milk while slapping Wesley's hand every now and then from stealing my food. "Wes go and get your own lunch! Why are you stealing mine" I groan slapping his hand away for the third time.

"I like your food better" he shrugs successfully grabbing a fry off my plate. Soon Nuri and Lauren join us after grabbing their lunch.

"Wesley don't forget, we have a pack meeting after school" Lauren says with smile. I continue sipping on my milk as Wesley faces her with a serious look.

"I'm not going" he replies curtly before grabbing a celery stick off my plate.

"B-but you have to! It's the pack rules" ! Lauren reprimands getting flustered. She shoots me a looks as if telling me to help.

"Wes, if it's mandatory then you shouldn't skip. You are part of the pack and it's important" I say with a frown. His hazel eyes look to me and I'm taken aback by the sudden coldness in his tone.

"I'm not going and it's final"! He grunts before walking away from the table. It's akward as Lauren, Nuri and I watch as he leaves.

"Well.... that didn't go well" Nuri says with a sigh. Her bangs blowing away from her face. This was the first time I had ever seen Wesley get so angry. When we were younger he loved being a werewolf, he took pride in it.

So what changed?

As the day moved on school was finally over and I slowly made my way home. I enter the mansion to see my mother sitting in the living room with the family doctor. "Doctor Warren... didnt expect to see you here" I greet slowly making my way in the room.

Doctor Warren has been our family doctor for a long time. He was the one that birthed my mother and uncles. He had also found out my mother was deaf when she was just an infant.

"Adora honey, Doctor Warren has some news for you... about your eye" my mother says patting the space next to her on the couch. I sit by her as she instantly wraps an arm around me giving me comfort.

"Well first and foremost it is good to see you are doing well. How are the eye drops working out"? He asks taking out some paperwork from his briefcase.

"Well.. the eyes drops have been working. But... my vision is still the same. I haven't seen any difference and the pain level is about the same" I say. I don't mention the other day where I was in excruciating pain as I knew my mother would freak out.

"Well I've been doing a bit of digging around. And as you know your case is... special. There have been rumors about a surgery being made to repair sight. I'm not exactly a hundred percent sure how true that is. But I will be keeping you posted if I come across anything of importance".

I nod my head as my mother holds my hand tightly. "Is it possible to get a stronger... eye drops medication? One that will for sure decrease the pain" my mother asks stroking my blonde hair. I lean against her touch as I listen to doctor Warren.

"There is but instead of three drops a day with this one you'll need to drop in six. Six drops in the morning and six drops before you go to bed. I'll get that done for you right away. In the mean time keep up with routine you have now".

I walk him out thanking him for his help. Just as I am about to shut the door closed a familiar dark haired women walks through the gates.

"AUNTY SLOANE" I scream racing towards her. She drops her bags wrapping her arms around me tightly.

"My gorgeous niece! Look at you, looking just like your mother" she coos standing back to get a good look at me. My mother comes to the door squealing when she sees my aunt. We all hug and the servants grab her bags to take upstairs.

It isn't long before my mother and aunt are chatting away.
