Isabel's Pov.

"SOMEONE GET THE PACK DOCTOR, NOW!" Logan shouted, using his full Alpha authority.

A young wolf ran to the pack doctor's office while everyone just stood there, asking questions simotaneously as if he would be able to answer them all at once.

"He's outside" Jason said to the pack. "But he's in bad shape. All pups should stay inside."

I walked up to Logan and grabbed his hand, to make him face me. But he didn't budge. He just stood there, lifeless. I could tell he was really worried about Brandon. He wasn't just his beta, he was his best friend too.

"Come with me" I whispered to him. He simply nodded and followed me as we walked outside to the front porch, away from Brandon's severly injured body.

I rubbed his back softly, trying to calm him and his wolf. He took my hand in his and held it tightly.

"Logan, what happened out there?" I asked him.

He sighed and put his head in his hands. "I was too late" he mumbled. "He called for me and I didn't get to him quick enough. This is my fault."

"Now I know that isn't true. It couldn't have been your fault" I assured him.

"You weren't there. I should have ran to him the minute he yelled for me. But I was too busy trying to make sure the others were okay. He's my best friend and I left him all alone" he said, beginning to tear up.

"You were trying to make sure the other wolves were okay. THAT isn't your fault. You are the Alpha, that is your job, to look out for everyone, not just certain people. You couldn't have known he'd get hurt" I tried convincing him.

"He'll never forgive me. If he dies, i'll never be able to live with this." he muttered.

"Yes he will. And he's not going to die. Stop being so negative. That isn't going to make the situation any better"

I heard the door open, and saw a group of wolves along with the pack doctor rushing over to Brandon's body. Logan and I immediately got up and joined them.

"What the hell happened?!?" The pack doctor said as she tried to stop the bleeding.

"He was being ambushed. Logan was helping me get up when I saw 2 wolves attacking him." A wolf named Andy said.

"He's losing too much blood. He's going into hypovolemic shock. He needs a blood transfusion in the next 20 minutes or he's going to die" The pack doctor said. "What's his blood type?" She asked us.

"B positive" Logan said.

"Who here is B positive?" She asked the group.

"I am" I said.

"Me too" Logan added. "So is Jason."

"So am I" Andy added.

"Okay. I'm going to take a pint of blood from each of you to stabilize his heart, but that still won't guarantee anything. This needs to be done as quickly as possible." she informed us.

She took a pint of blood from each of us, as she said she would. We were all still standing around, hoping that this blood transfusion would buy us some time.

She made a small incision in his chest, inserted a chest tube, and began pumping our blood inside of him. For a werewolf, his skin was extremely pale from all the loss of blood, but as our blood was flowing into him, his face began to get pink.

"Okay, i've stabilized him for now, but we need to get him to the hospital or this would have all been for nothing. Now, I need you all to lift him onto this gurney as safely as you can. I can take him to the hospital with the pack's ambulance truck." she told us.
