"Yo!" He chuckled.

"Uh... h-hi..." You stuttered.

He gave you the purest smile you'd ever seen and your heart just melted.

'What is this innocent boy doing here!?'

From his dress you had a feeling that he had a very carefree attitude. The only attire that looked like it was from the camp was black army boots. The rest of his uniform consisted of black shorts up to his knees and a black opened out high collar jacket. Around his neck dangled a dog tag with three chains. Two of them where typical dog tags but he was moving around too much for you to make out the name. The other chain was simply a gold straw hat with a red band around it. It was cute. Compared to Law, this guy was a breath of fresh air. You were both staring at each other expectantly.

'He came to me, doesn't he have anything to say?' You sweat dropped

"Uhm, did you want something from me Mr...?"

"Luffy!" He beamed. "Monkey. D. Luffy, I'm gonna be king of the monsters!"

You had an owlish look as you blinked at the boy in front of you who was almost the same height as you proclaim his near-suicidal dream, which you didn't ask for like it was the simplest thing since whipped cream.

"That's quite the statement Luffy" you stared at him "You do know that the only person who got that title was the founder of SKDD, Gold. D. Rodger? And nobody has been able to match up to him since"

"Yeah, but what's that got to do with me? If I want it then I'll get it or die trying!" He picked his nose and flicked his snot at the ground.

'Ok that's just nasty'

"Oh yeah! What were you talking to Tra-guy about?" His face lit up.

"Sorry who?" You raised a brow.

"You know Tra-guy! The two of you were talking just a second ago! Are you two friends as well? If so do you wanna be my friend too?"

"Whoa whoa whoa Slow down" you chuckled nervously "That's too many questions"

'This guy seriously wants to slay monsters?'

"Shishishi! Sorry! Sorry! It's just strange for Tra-guy to talk to other people!" He smiled

"I'm guessing you two are close?" You smiled.

"Yeah! We're good friends! We transferred here around the same time, so we trained together a lot. He's super smart and very strong but best of all he gives me the food he doesn't want" He explained.

'So he gave you food and you didn't leave him alone' you deadpanned.

"So are you two friends?" Luffy beamed

"I guess we could potentially become friends" You sighed.

"That's awesome! Then do you wanna be my friend as well!?" His eyes sparkled.
