"They're already here!?" You gasped.
"Doffy ordered me to go and collect them early this morning" Vergo calmly replied.
'They've been here all day!?'
"Why are they already here!?" You growled. "Why wasn't I made aware!?"
"The Lieutenants' specific words were 'I want to get them briefed before they see my little rose'" he responded.
'First, he doesn't even want them on his grounds, now he's trying to get to them before me! Is that flamboyant flamingo trying to pick a fight with me!?'
You and Vergo were currently pacing it towards the hanger where, apparently, your special soldiers were being prepped by none other than Lieutenant Doflamingo. Your meeting with him about candidate choices hadn't exactly gone smoothly but he didn't have a choice in the matter. So in his mind, this was probably the best way to get back at you for not taking his suggestions.
"Lieutenant!" Vergo halted and gave a quick salute.
"Ah Vergo, Little Rose, what a pleasant surprise" Doflamingo beamed as he approached the two of you.
"Don't 'what a pleasant surprise' me!" You mocked furiously. "Why did you go behind my back and bring the trainees?!"
"I'll handle this from here Vergo, you're free to go" Doflamingo waved him off, completely ignoring you.
"Yes sir" Vergo nodded and marched away.
"Lieutenant!?" You demanded
"Haven't I told you already I would prefer it if you call me Doffy?" He teased.
"And I told you it'd be over a dead body! This is serious!?"
Doflamingo just chuckled at your reaction. To him, you were just so much fun to mess with and that made you even angrier.
"Now now little Rose, should you really be shouting at your Superior like that? I only brought those three boys so that they could get used to the atmosphere before they start their training"
"Even if that was the case, which I highly doubt, why wasn't I informed about this?" You trapped your foot impatiently.
"You've got other things to be worrying about, we don't want you passing out from fatigue little Rose" he gave you a sly grin. "Besides, I wanted to see what made them so special, and unfortunately I don't see it. It's not too late to change your mind"
"Thank you but no thank you sir" you seethed.
"Too bad" He grinned "Well they're waiting for you behind these doors, have fun little Rose"
You glared as he sauntered away without a care in the world.
'That man...' you thought to yourself. 'What is he thinking?'
Unfortunately, your suspicions and opinions on Doflamingo would have to wait. Your soldiers are finally here. This encounter would be a pivotal moment in history and would kickstart your whole purpose of being here into action. Carefully, you placed your hand on the access panel for the security door.
