It All Started With A One Night Stand

First Date?

I spun around while looking at myself in the mirror. I had to admit that I looked nice. I was wearing my a nice sun dress that I never really wear but I loved and matching sandals. I was afraid that I looked too over dressed, but this was my first date and I wanted to look nice even if he didn't consider it to be one. No matter what he thinks I want to look good cause this is more about me making memories than about him anyways.

"You look so nice!" Victoria said as she waited beside my bedroom door. After a fight today, she must feel a little apprehensive and as much as I should hate her for making me go on my first date with a guy who doesn't even like me, I know that she is trying to make me happy so I can't hate her.

"Thanks!" I said as I spun around again and grabbed my hair to try out some different hair styles.

"Here let me help you!" She said as she helped put my hair in pigtails and spun me around. She helped me put on light makeup as well. "How do you feel?"

"I feel like this would not lead to anything but I'm still excited!" I said truthfully. I know this would not lead to anything but I still feel butterflies flying in my stomach.

"I'm happy you feel that way. Nobody really thinks at this age a 1st date would lead to anything long-term but it doesn't mean it won't be something real and special anyways. Keep an open mind!" She said as she kissed my cheek.

I hear the doorbell ring and she quickly goes and open it. I stand up, pick up my stuff, and looked at myself one more time in the mirror. Darn I look good!

But he looks so much better I thought as I walked down the stairs to see him wearing a dress shirt, dress pants and a tie. His hair was styled and he had nice cologne on. He even brought me flowers.

"Damn I thought I would look good but you are so beautiful!" He said with a gigantic smile on his face.

"Right back at you!" I said with a blush on my face.

"Also these are for you!" He said as he passed me the flowers.

"Thanks!" I said blushing. I can't believe he dressed up for this date and even brought me flowers. Maybe he does a lot to deal with this guilt?

"They are so nice! I can go put them in a vase and up in your room!" Victoria said as she took the flowers from me. "Have a great time guys! But make sure you actually bring her home tonight!" Victoria had a really menacing look on her face and shoot warning daggers at Nathan.

"Okay great! Let's go!" I said as I opened the door, walked Nathan out and closed the door behind me.

"So she is really protective then?" Nathan asked with his eyebrows raised.

"Yes she is." I said as I smiled thinking about how much Victoria loved me and wanted to keep me safe. When I was younger I had a hard time making friends so I never thought that I would end up with friends like Jasmine and Victoria. Jasmine being the sweetest person I know and Victoria being extremely protective and caring, it's amazing.

"It's nice that you have people that care about you! Hopefully by the end of the night you'll have one more!" He said as he unlocked his car and opened the passenger door for me.

"Yea hopefully!" I said with a blush as he went to his side of the car and opened the door. I know that that probably wouldn't happen but there is no problem with hoping.

He had a very nice sports car that looked even better from the inside. He drove quickly to wherever he was going. It was quiet in the beginning, as we sat beside each other and just looked at each other. It felt insanely awkward as we did not know what to say but at the same time it was nice as I got to just look at him. I don't know the next time I would be beside someone so handsome so I decided to just take advantage of the opportunity.
