It All Started With A One Night Stand

Our First Real Date

I woke up this morning to two great surprises. The first I saw when I just woke up. I heard a ding on my phone and looked up to see a text message from Nathan telling me how great of a time he had last night and asking me out on another date after his game. Of course I said yes to that.

The second great surprise was Jasmine coming back a day early. I went downstairs to see her dropping her bags on the floor and relaxing in the coach.

"What are you doing back so soon?" I asked as I ran over to her and hugged her as if I haven't seen her in a year but with 1 and a half crazy days I felt like so much changed already.

"I am back because my brother was so annoying and my parents kept fighting. So my weekend kinda sucked. How bout yours did anything change?" She asked me.

"Nothing changed with me but ask Alyssa whose entire life changed this weekend." I heard Victoria say from the kitchen. I turned to see her making breakfast.

"What happened?" She asked me coming closer. She had a confused but interested face on. She must have been confused because she didn't know if it was good news or bad news.

"I went to my first party, lost my virginity to Nathan Reid and than went on a date with him." I quickly said being ecstatic realizing that this was my life now. Waking up to texts from the amazing guy and probably good night texts like the one he sent last night thanking me for going out with him and wishing me good night.

"And this all happened while I was home with my brother and parents. Are you kidding me this is amazing I am so happy for you!!!" Jasmine said as she came and give me the biggest hug ever. "But I cant believe it!"

"What?" I asked hoping that she won't bring up the difference in status.

"The fact that I missed your first party, your first time and your first date! I am such a bad friend!" Jasmine said overdramaticly by putting one hand on her forehead and the other one up.

"Shucks no you're not. None of us even knew that this was going to happen." Victoria said as she dropped her bowl of cereal on the table in front of us and came and sit on my opposite side.

"And that isn't even the best part. He texted me a good night text last night and this morning I woke up to him asking me out another date." I said as I stood up, twirled around and sat back down. Maybe we are all over dramatic?

"He is sooo sweet. And I think you might have been his first everything this year." Jasmine said smiling in happiness.

"What do you mean? I thought he got around!" Victoria asked Jasmine. And then she looked directly at me and said "no offence."

"No he used to get around for the last 2 years and then this year he just didn't." Jasmine said. "All the guys on the team thought something must have happened or changed."

I looked down and smiled thinking about how on the first day of classes, the first day of the semester, I spilled bubble tea on him. Maybe he did really like me and he was waiting for me? Who knows?

"Okay that settles it before today's game I am going to help you get ready for your date. And Victoria you have to be there." Jasmine said while pointing at both of us telling us the plan.

"Okay!" I said as the same time that Victoria said "Fine!" We looked at each other.

"Okay we have no time for this! His game is at 2 today and right now it's 11 so we only have 3 hours! We need to get you ready!" Jasmine said while dragging me up the stairs. How long could this really take?

Apparently it could take 3 hours to decide what I should wear, for me to shower, put on make up and do my hair. The last part took only like an hour but the first part took forever because Jasmine debated if I should dress in school colours or if that would be tacky for the date. We decided that as we didn't know where he was going to take me and we had to go to the game first for me to wear a purple top, grey shorts, ballet flats and have a nice bow on my head.
