We were sitting on the couches in the living room. The twins were coming over as well as Jarak and Grey was going to explain everything. Beverly had already arrived and Laken changed out of his work clothes into sweats and a shirt while we lounged in the living room.

I was pressed against Grey, worrying about  whether or not this was another attack, just like Michael. Grey was texting someone, I wasn't sure who but I didn't really care. A moment later he stopped and looked at me. "Lets go to our room real quick." He suggested. I nodded, moving so he could stand up.

I was in a daze, moving almost robotically, holding everything together with tape basically. "We will be back in a moment guys, make yourself at home." Grey said to Beverly who was pressed against Laken. She nodded, reaching for the remote to turn on the TV.

Grey closed the door behind us and turned around to face me. I stared at him for a moment, before breaking. Tears brimmed my eyes, quick to overfill and run down my cheeks as my lips quivered. He sighed, worry crossing his face as he pulled me into an embrace.

"I was so scared, I thought you died." I cried, he nodded, running his fingers through my hair as he hushed me. "I thought, Seth didnt know- he couldn't tell me." I sobbed, as he nodded.

"I know, I know. I wanted to call but things were just so busy. I couldn't imagine anything happening at your school so I sent Seth. I'm sorry, I should have called."   He held me for a moment or so before picking me up bridal style and carrying me to the bed.

He crawled up next to me, laying down so I could lay on him. He wrapped his arms around me and held me while I cried. The question still stuck in my head about whether or not this had relations to Michael.

"What's going through your head?" Grey finally asked. My breathing had slowed a bit, most of the fit over. Looking up at him, he moved hair from my face, smiling at me. "You're so beautiful Mari, even when your face is red and puffy." he joked.

I laughed slightly, more so embarrassed than anything else. Grey and I had been through so lot, this man was single handed lay th Ensor important person in the world to me now. Everyone else I could survive without, if he was gone, I wouldn't be able to exist anymore.

"What are you thinking about?" He whispered, running his fingers down my cheek.

"You," I smiled. "And how I probably couldn't exist without you." He chuckled this time, kissing my lightly on the lips.

"I love you, so much Amara. I probably couldn't exist without you either."

"I love you to." I whispered, kissing him back, lightly. Our lips moved in sync for a moment, but all to quickly it was cut off. "Do you think this has anything to do with Michael?" I asked. He stopped and frowned at me, more in confusion than anything else.

"Baby, he's dead. You know that." I do, because I killed him. I nodded but shrugged.

"But what if someone was working with him? Who broke into the building Grey, how did they get in?" I was to anxious to wait for everyone to get here, i wanted to know now. He sighed and nodded.

"I was working on paperwork for a new product when I got the call. Someone was downstairs  on the security floor creating a scene and security was having issues gettin him to leave. She kept insisting that she saw me so they called me. I went down, I had no idea who she was or what she wanted, she was to frantic to say anything. I had security let her go so she could talk. Right as I did, she pulled a gun out aiming it at my head."

I felt my stomach twist and turn.

"I tried to grab the gun from her but she swung and hit me with it instead. I was able to grab her a moment left and pull the gun from her hands and pulled the clip out of it." If that was all that happened, why the big fuss?

"Why all the security?" I asked, searching his face for something, like he wasn't telling me something.

"Because she was on the security floor, in order to get onto the security floor you have to have a special access code. That's where all of our tapes are kept, as well as all of the passwords and codes to basically my entire company. I'm just glad they got a hold of her and recognized her as not an employee before we lost everything."

"And you don't know who she was?" I asked and he shook his head.

"I have a private investigating team with her right now, trying to figure out who she was and what she wants. Why did she break into my company and not steal anything?" he was confused by the situation at hand. I would die to if it was my company. I was more worried for him.

"Can you stay home from work tomorrow?" I asked and he shook his head.

"Unfortunately no. I'm sorry baby. I have people sweeping the building right now, looking at tapes and everything else to figure out how she got in. It will be over soon but I cant miss any work, not since I just got back from a weekend away." He phrased it like we went on vacation.

"Okay, then can Laken and Beverly stay here until we figure it out?" I didn't want my family gettin hurt, besides Grey and the twins they were really all I had. He nodded, smiling.

"I will offer it to them, cant promise they will accept but I will tell them."

A knock on the door sounded a moment later, pulling us out of our little bubble. "Come in." Grey said, sitting up as i moved, laying my head on his lap.

"Hey the twins are here." Laken said, peeking his head in the door. We nodded and  Grey pulled me off the bed with him. Laken left the room and I fixed my shirt so they didnt think we were doing anything.

"I want to change real quick actually." Grey said, still in his suit. He went to the closet and changed into sweats and a white T shirt and came back out. The man could make literally anything look good.

He looked at me and I nodded, heading towards the living room.

Delta and Jarak were sitting out eh loveseat next to Dylan who was frowning at their coupleness. Laken and Beverly were on the actual couch so I moved to sit next to them.

"Okay, I called you all here so I could explain the situation once and be done with it." Grey began. He went into detail about the girl and how she broke in and caused her scene. He explained how he disarmed her and that he didn't think she got anything important out of the system so the company should still be up and running.

"So what is the threat here, why do we need to be here?" Dylan asked, crossing her arms a bit confused.

"Because this person was after me, and since you all know and are reliably close to me and Amara, I needed you all to be aware. I don't think there is a threat on any of you but I want to be aware that there is a threat and make note of who the look out for. I cant Guarantee a jail sentence to the woman so, once I have her details I'm giving you all copies of her photo to keep an eye out."

She wasn't going to be arrested? She pulled a gun? "Wait what Grey? She should be in jail." I argued, outraged that there was a chance of her walking out.

"I know, but I'm not a lawyer and I'm not entirely sure what they can use to hold her. I'm pressing charges so that should do something, But regardless. I'm worried she didn't work alone. So just, everyone please be careful. When I have more information I will let you all know, for now, you're all welcome to stay here where I have security. Jus until the situation is handled." Grey shoved his hands into his sweat pockets and looked around.

I could see the worry on his face, not sure what was going to come out of any of this. I wasn't convinced she was alone, whoever she was.

"Until then, we go back to work?" Laken asked and Grey nodded.

"I have people doing a sweep tonight and going through the cameras to catch anything. When I have something I will let you all know, but as of now we are still going to work tomorrow."

"Cool, so sleepover at Grey's." Delta smiled, trying to lighten the mood. "Want to order pizza for dinner?"
