Chapter 14

Y/n's pov

2 months. That's how long I've been living with Kashi-San. Let me tell you, it's been awesome! I love it here! Thank you to grandma Yuri, I miss her but she's chosen the right path for me.

I finished eating breakfast and waved at Kashi-San.

"Bye bye! Kashi-San!",

"Bye Y/n", he waved back and went back to reading again. I ran out the door and started to go towards the academy. I think I might be late. Hopefully not! I saw the window I usually jumped through. I ran faster and jumped through the opened window. I landed safely on the ground. I got up and waved at my classmates.

"Hey guys!", I could feel a menacing glare coming from behind me. I nervously laughed and slowly looked behind me. "Hi Iruka-sensei, hehe...",

"You're an hour late!",

"At least I came earlier!", I put my hands up in defense. I heard him sigh and rub his temple.

"Just sit down", I smiled and nodded.

"Hai sensei!", I ran towards my seat and sat down. Everything was going normal as usual. I felt Sasuke poke my arm. I turned and looked at him. "Hmm?",

"Do you want to come over...?", I smiled and nodded. He smiled back. We both went back to focusing to what Iruka-sensei was teaching us. Kashi-San won't mind if I'm gone for a bit.

Me and Sasuke were getting ready to go but then Sasuke stopped.

"What's up Sasuke?",

"Can you actually help me?",

"With what?",

"I've been trying to better at this justu Itachi taught me and I've seen you're good at taijustu so, is it alright?", I smiled and nodded.

"Of course! I don't mind helping out!", I grabbed his hand and started to run towards the training grounds.

I guess we lost track of time since we saw the sun starting to go down.

"Oh no! It's getting late, we should go now",

"Yeah, I don't my parents to get worried", I grabbed my bag and started to run. Hopefully, Kashi-San doesn't worry to much. I'll explain everything to him. We started to run to the Uchiha compound.

"Hopefully we don't get scolded to much, huh?",

"I hope not", I wonder what time it is right now? Please don't be mad at me Kashi-San! I just want to say hi to Sasuke's parents and I also want to say hi to Itachi. I heard Sasuke gasp. "Grandma!", I looked on the ground and saw someone lying in a puddle of blood. What's going on!? I went down to check on her.

"She's not breathing!", I started to look around to see if anyone else was around.

"My parents!!", Sasuke started to run. I got up and started to follow him. The more we ran the more dead people we saw. Who could've done this!? We finally made it to his home and ran inside. "Mother!! Father!!", everything is clean in here.

I gulped and started to run towards other rooms with Sasuke.

"Where are they!?", me and Sasuke stopped when we noticed the last room. We looked at each other and nodded. We slowly walked towards the door. Sasuke hesitantly grabbed the handle. Once he grabbed it he gulped and opened it. I peaked in and saw them.

"Mikoto-san!! Fugaku-san!!", we both ran in.

"Mother!! Father!!", I stopped and looked at the puddle of blood under them. I could feel my tears finally fall. Sasuke stopped too.

"T-They're...", I didn't want to finish that sentence. We both looked up when we heard footsteps. Itachi!? "I-Ita-san...?",

"Itachi! Mother and father!!! The clan!! They're...!", did Itachi do this? I saw him look at Sasuke then he looked at me.

"Y/n... you weren't supposed to be here...", I felt my eyes widen at what he said.

"W-What...?",

"Itachi? You... you did this...?", Sasuke stepped back and pushed me behind him. Itachi threw a shuriken. It hit Sasuke's arm. I grabbed Sasuke's hand and ran outside.

"We're getting out of here!! We need to find help!!", I looked behind us and saw Itachi for a split second on a pole. I stopped when I saw a lot of dead bodies. I looked around for another place to run. I let go of Sasuke's hand and jumped behind him and hit away a kunai. Itachi was across the street. I glared at him while holding the kunai Itachi gave me.

"Itachi! Why are you doing this!?", Itachi just stared at us with cold look. I started to hear Sasuke yelling. I turned around and looked at him.

"Sasuke! What's wrong!?", he was holding his head and screaming. I looked at Itachi and made eye contact. His eyes are different. Everything around me started to swirl. Everything started to change scenery as well. I kept my guard up.

I saw a very familiar lake in front of me.

"Am I...?", I was cut off when I heard a very familiar scream. I turned around and saw my home on fire. I started to shake and cry even more. No! No!! NO!!! This isn't real!

I heard the scream again. I started to run towards it. I slammed my front door open and started to look around.

"MOMMY!!!",

"Y/N!!", I found her under a large piece of wood. I went up to her but stopped.

This isn't real...

I know they're gone...

I looked at the illusion in front of me. I looked down at the kunai. I stabbed my hand. I saw I was out of the genjustu. Itachi narrowed his eyes at me. I took out the kunai and aimed at him.

"I'm not falling for an illusion!", I looked on the ground and noticed Sasuke there, unconscious. He's still alive though, I could hear his breathing. I looked back up and saw Itachi gone. I felt a hand cover my mouth and another one grab my hand that was holding the kunai. I started to struggle but it was no use.

"You weren't suppose to be here Y/n... I'm sorry...", I yelled out when I felt pain on my stomach. I looked down and saw that he stabbed me with the kunai while holding my hand. The last thing I saw was Itachi with a single tear before everything went black.
