"And... we're done! Good luck, guys!" That was Jefferson. Title Defense na kasi bukas.
I spread my arms wide as though I was letting the cool breeze hug away the tiredness in me.
He was looking at me as if he was judging me about how pathetic I looked like a few seconds ago.
"Do you want to be a CEO?"
"Huh?" This is one of Marcus' trademarks. He's easy to read. Hinding hindi siya makapagsisinungaling because his facial expressions would tell you his real feelings. "Well, yes. Why?"
I smirked and looked at him from head to toe, "You should mind your own business."
He gasped and placed his hand on his chest like he was having a heart attack. OA talaga! "Guys, you can go ahead. Babalik muna ako sa faculty. May nakalimutan kasi akong kunin kay Sir Plogimon."
"No, it's ok—" Hindi ko naituloy ang sasabihin nang biglang sumagot si Daniel. He really is unbelievable. I faced Jefferson, "Will wait for you here."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah, go ahead.
I looked at Marcus who was already staring at the statue. "Ang ganda ng great grandmother mo, no?"
"Do you know the history about your family?" I asked him.
"Duh, of course! Family ko kasi siguro sila, in the first place?" I chuckled when I heard his answer.
"Bakit?"
"Ayoko lang."
"Dali na."
"Ugh, ayaw! I'm tamad."
"Tss."
"Okay fine. Where do I start?" Tumawa ako at tumingin sa kaniya. Nasa taas ang tingin niya habang hinihimas ang imaginary mustache niya. "Doon sa bago sila maghiwalay."
"Oh, alam mo na pala, eh? Why do you want me to make kwento?"
"Gusto ko lang. It's one of my favorite stories after all."
