Eric entered the guildhall ready for action. He was going to find the perfect quest to make plenty of money and gain experience as an adventurer.

The first thing he spotted was his face. On a poster. Thankfully it wasn't a wanted poster. He examined the poster closely.

Breaking News.
Newbie adventurer takes on 5 dire wolves solo.

This was followed by a barely recognizable drawing of his face. His dark hair and sharp features had been exaggerated into an almost wolfish scowl, and the drawing showed him striking a while standing over the corpses of five massive wolves.

"This can't be real." He muttered in irritation, "I look ridiculous."

He approached the front desk where Sylvia greeted him warmly.

Eric put on a big fake smile, but there was no hiding the wildness in his eyes.

"Sylvia, I promise I won't be mad just tell me..." he held up the poster, "What the hell is this?"

Sylvia laughed nervously. "Um, well, you see. I uh" she was clearly stalling. "Hey, Eric! I've got a quest for you,"

"Really?" He asked excitedly.

"See for yourself," Sylvia handed him the request form.

Quest
Rank: E-D
Exterminate goblins in the sewers beneath the city.
Reward: 1 copper per goblin.
Warning: A party of at least three is recommended for safety reasons.

"This quest is definitely appealing, but I'm a solo adventurer, and it says I need a party." Eric handed the flyer back.

"Well..." Sylvia began. "I may have a solution to that problem."

Eric perked up. "Go on..." he urged.

"I have two apprentice mages who are looking for a third party member-"

"And you want me to be the third member?" Eric finished, already shaking his head.

Sylvia folded her arms. "Consider it a personal favor," she suggested.

"Not a chance. I'm an adventurer mot a babysitter" Eric argued.

"I'll take down the posters," Sylvia offered.

"Fine, I'll do it," Eric sighed. "So where are these two apprentice mages?"

Sylvia pointed to two teenage girls in royal blue cloaks. They were just standing around, having some sort of argument. Eric looked unconvinced.

"Just go talk to them okay?" Sylvia asked pleadingly.

"I've got a bad feeling about this," Eric muttered under his breath. He approached the girls, and absentmindedly examined the quest requests.

Upon closer examination, he realized the two mages were twins. They were leaning against a nearby pillar arguing. The one on the left was the louder of the two. She had long black hair with a red bow in it. The quieter twin. Had shoulder-length brown hair and small glasses. Aside from that, they would be totally indistinguishable. Until you met them that is.

"Look Reagan, if we spend all day waiting here we'll never get to go anywhere. I say we jump in and take our chances!" Yelled the twin on the left.
