LUCAS'S POV
"Dude, you just met him like a week ago and you're already whipped for him?" Ten curiously asked.
We were at my apartment. They let themselves in when Ten said they will come over before I get home.
I shrugged my shoulders. "Can't help it. He's too cute not to like." First week at university and I already fell for someone.
"And a mute guy." Kun added and rolled his eyes. I glared at him and slapped his thigh. "Don't forget you told me you don't like him when you called Yukhei."
"That was a joke. You know me." I joked. Kun just sighed and face palmed.
We were sitting at the living room with snacks and soda cans littering on the floor. I decided to clean up since it was really messy.
"Oh no. You're not going anywhere until you tell us the full detail of your date." Ten put his hand on my shoulder to prevent me from standing up.
I faced him. "What's there to tell? You go bother Sicheng who is he texting. He's been on his phone for like an hour."
We look at Sicheng who was still texting, not hearing what I said to Ten. He was smiling like a fool.
Ten came up behind him and snatched his phone from his hands. Sicheng was surprised and trying getting the device back.
"Hey! Give it back!" Ten stood in the couch and strected his arm while Sicheng was reaching out for his phone.
"Tell us first who are you texting?!" He exclaimed. I watched in amusement while Kun was massaging his temples, "These two shenanigans, I swear."
After a while, Sicheng got his phone back. "I was texting Yuta so stop bothering me."
We were shocked at what he just said. "I didn't know you like him..." I trailed. "When did you met him?"
"When I was in 1st year and he was in 2nd year. He was the assistant secretary of Student Council." He told us. "So yeah, I met him for 2 years now. And I know Jungwoo, we just haven't talked many times."
Oh right. He came first here in Seoul than us as an exchange student.
"Sooo...what were you two talking about?" I asked, desperately trying to change the subject but Ten won't let it slide.
"You are not changing the subject until you tell us what happened earlier at your date." He said, forcing me to tell the story. I sighed.
*30 minutes later*
"-and that's the story of our hang out date earlier." They were staring at me when I told them what happened and now they're still were.
"Can I go now? I have to clean this mess before it stinks here." I stood up and pick up the cans and plastic bags. I went to the kitchen to put it in the trash can.
I heard footsteps and saw Sicheng standing beside the fridge, facing me. I asked him what's wrong.
He walked to get close to me. "Can you uh- can you accompany me on monday?" He asked.
Sicheng doesn't ask this unless it's important to him. I guess it's about Yuta.
"This is about Yuta, isn't it?" I smirked. He shyly nod. "So, what's going on?" I leaned at the counter.
Sicheng scratched his nape. "Nothing. I just wanted to talk to him but I might chicken out, and since you're close to Jungwoo, maybe he's with him." He smiled nervously. "Please accompany me Yukhei." And now he's close to doing aegyo for me just to say yes.
Since when does he chicken out on talking to someone, and when did he get like this?
Sicheng have been my friend for years but I haven't seen him this 'desperate'. This is on a whole new level. It's sad Kun and Hendery weren't here to witness this.
I haven't realized he was tugging the sleeve of my shirt a little harsh, waiting for my answer. I grabbed his wrist for him to stop and said, "Ok fine, I'll go with you."
He smiled widely and jumped like a kid. Seriously, I haven't seen him this way.
"Thank you Yukhei!" He ran back to the living room and plopped down in the couch with Kun and Ten, who were watching K-drama.
I decided to clean the dishes before joining them.
While I was washing the plates, my mind drifts in thoughts of Jungwoo. I really want to know why we doesn't speak. Is it because something happened? Or he's born this way?
I have questions to ask him about his condition but I thought about that day where he cried when I asked why he's mute. Maybe something did happened to him when he was young.
After I finished, I went to join them in the living room and sat down at the single couch.
Ten and Sicheng were on their phones and Kun was now watching a movie.
I decided to text Jungwoo since the movie was a romantic one. I can't even fight Kun over the remote.

Oh ok thenWe talked for hours until Kun spoke up. "Hey Lucas, mind if I sleep over?" The other two perked up hearing the word 'sleep over'.
"Me too." Sicheng said. Ten raised his hand. "Me three."
I nod. They always kept some clothes on the guest room since they sometimes stay here on friday or saturday to keep me company.
We watched 2 movies and played Mario Kart. We didn't notice the time, which was 12 AM, and I still haven't done homework yet.
We decided to call it a night and go to bed and sleep. I haven't realized that I was tired because I was still thinking about our hang out.
Yup. This is love at first sight.
