LUCAS'S POV
Since that was my first ever confession, text confession actually, we were pretty awkward when we saw each other in my locker before classes start.
We were close in text but in personal, I don't want to say something about it. The bad thing was he didn't send me little notes earlier like he always do in Literature. But the good thing was he likes me back.
We're in Chemistry class right now. I can't focus because my throat hurts from all the singing and yelling, Minhyuck told me to raise my voice.
And from yesterday also. Like who can even focus when your crush likes you back?
All of us were reviewing for the upcoming exam next week, which was after the play. More stress for us, I guess.
Why did I even go here anyway?
"Please take this seriously. I don't want my students to fail this class, and it's only the 1st semester." Mr. Kim said to us. He told us half of his class last year failed. That scared us thought.
I looked at Jungwoo's direction. Like he always do, he's sketching on his notebook. I really want to talk to him about what happened yesterday but it's so awkward.
-
"You two look distant, what happened?" Ten snickered. I glared at him. "Don't pretend you don't know what you did Yukhei."
I stayed silent and focused on eating my lunch. Jungwoo was sitting behind me, Taeil and the dreamers were talking to him.
Johnny nudged my side. "Don't worry, we had a plan." He winked, the other guys beside me chortled.
I was about to ask him but he stood up, cupped his hands around his mouth and yelled, "Last one to go to the library will buy us ice cream!" They all stopped talking and started to ran down the stairs, back to the building while pushing each other.
"Get out of the way!"
"Stop pushing idiots!"
"I'm not gonna buy you all ice cream!"
"If I ended up in the hospital with broken bones, I'm blaming all of you!"I was impressed no one fell down from all the pushing. It was so anxious to watch.
After a while, I felt my phone went off. Pulling it out from my pocket, I saw a message from our group chat.

Us two were the only ones who were in the bleachers. It was an awkward silence and I might go deaf so I started a conversation.
"Hey Jungwoo." I turned to him. He just smiled and pretended he got interested in his drink. I pouted. "What...? The feeling is mutual."
Jungwoo shook his head and looked down on his lap. He opened his mouth but closed it. He brought his phone out and typed.
'Ask me out first.'
-
"He literally typed it!" I said in a hoarse voice. We don't have practice today and when we finished the last class, I practically left Jungwoo and ran out as fast as I could. "We didn't talked after he showed it."
Kun whacked me on the back of my head with a thin notebook. "Shithead. You should've did it." Ten and Sicheng agreed. "You're head over heels for him."
"In short and again, you are WHIPPED." My friends laughed.
They stopped and stared somewhere behind my back. I looked at them confused when I felt arms hugging me tightly, and I already know who it was. Kun dragged the other two on the back of their collars. "Let's leave them be."
"Yah! Kun ge!" They left us there. Jungwoo was still hugging me so I turned around. He smiled.
"You're so cute uwu." I freed my arms and pinched his cheeks. "Sorry I left you there."
He's too precious to handle.
Jungwoo titled his head, confused with something. He looked like a puppy and I seriously stopped myself before I can kiss him then and there.
I cleared my throat. "You want to go somewhere? At the park?" He agreed. We walked to the nearest park and and sat on the first bench we saw.
It was quiet but comfortable, nothing like earlier at the bleachers. Then I asked him. "Are you free after exam week? Sunday morning."
Jungwoo looked at me, his face beamed with happiness. He scooted over and hugged my right arm and leaned his head on my shoulder.
The park was empty since it's already 5 PM, and the noise from the cars was all we can hear.
I brought up some topics so we don't feel awkward. "See you tomorrow? I can walk you to your apartment." He blushed and buried his face on my arm.
"C'mon, let's go back." I stood up but he wouldn't let go. I chuckled and snatched my own arm back slowly.
He eventually let go and we walked down to his apartment. I kissed his cheek again when we got there. "Bye Woo." I ruffled his hair and walked away.
I looked back, he was standing there while waving.
Don't mess this up, Yukhei.
