Chapter 13

NO ONE'S POV

*3 months later*

As days have passed, the Literature class Jungwoo was in had 90% completed their play presentation.

Today was tuesday, which means they have 5 days to finalize everything, including sunday.

This week is their last practice since next week is their final presentation.

Taeil said not to worry but then Mr. Lee announced that all the years will watch, except for the students who took Literature class of course.

"This is so stressful. If I messed up, I'll make fun of." Taeil was close to hyperventilate. Jungwoo caressed his back to calm him down.

'Hyung, stop worrying. You won't mess up, I promise.' Jungwoo signed. They were inside the dressing room, just like the other actors. Lucas sat beside Taeil, also comforting him.

Then there was a knock on the door and it opened, revealing Kyungsoo, the scriptwriter and assistant director. "We're starting. Hurry up."

The rest followed him out and to the stage. Jungwoo gave the two thumbs up before going out of the room to the seats with the maknaes.

They were dismissed early. Mark also came along with them.

The red haired sat with them, Renjun on his left and Jisung on his right, Chenle sat in front. The three of them plus the oldest were third wheeling with Markhyuck and Nomin.

"Thank god you're here hyung. I can't deal with their flirting. It's so much worse than Yukhei trying to flirt with you." Renjun said jokingly. Jungwoo smacked his head and glared at him.

It was true. Lucas was flirting with him this past 3 months and Jungwoo not being the oblivious one, noticed. He would blush just like the color of his hair.

The mute would hide his blushing face with anything he was holding or on his hands. He got really shy when this happens to him.

The practice started after Minhyuck's speech of encouragement and his usual countdown.

The dreamers commented their hyungs' acting every once in a while, Jungwoo listened to them. Then Lucas's part came on.

He spoke the dialogues and sang. Jungwoo never fell for someone even more. In fact, he never fell in love until Lucas came.

"I don't know you can sing."
"Guess you're getting good in Korean hyung."

The maknaes complemented their two hyungs. They stayed until their practice was over. It was now 6 PM.

Taeil and Lucas were smiling at the nice remarks from their younger friends. Jungwoo was standing at the back while talking to Minho, typing on his phone before showing it to his classmate to know his response.

"I'm gonna go Jungwoo, be safe on going home." Minho hugged the red haired, who returned the hug back.

They didn't know that Lucas was staring at the them with jealousy in his eyes. "Shh Yukhei. Stop sending daggers to Minho. He has a boyfriend." Taeil nudged the taller on his side.

Lucas broke the trance and looked down. Jisung saw the two hugging and smirked. "So you're jealous?" He spoke a little louder for them to hear.

Jeno covered his mouth with his palm. "Jisung!" He quietly yelled.

The said boy pointed at his back but the two broke the hug and Minho already left. Jungwoo was approaching them, completely unawared of the situation.

He didn't knew why Jeno's hand was on Jisung so he asked, 'What happened?'

Jeno immediately removed his hand and wiped his palm on Jisung's jacket sleeve, who slapped his hyung's hand away.

"Nothing. Let's go." The group gathered their bags and went out. "Let's go eat. It's already 6:30 PM and I'm starving. My treat." Taeil said, the youngers cheered.

"3 months have passed, and so is my stay here in Korea. My vocabulary is also improving!" Lucas cheered as they walked down the sidewalk to Jungwoo's apartment.

It was their usual walk when going home. The mute just looked at him and smiled at his enthusiasm.

They stopped when the two reached the apartment and faced each other. "See you tomorrow Woo."

Lucas leaned in and kissed his cheek quickly before walking past him without looking back, leaving the blushing but confused male standing there.
