LUCAS'S POV
We were now preparing for the play in Literature class. I didn't know he finished the lesson in one day because that story was really long, but I heard him said this while taking a break from my daydream,
'I will discuss this very short so you can read and know more about the lesson since all of you are bored and stuff, and prepare for the play.'
We prepared inside the Theater room. We chose earlier at the classroom who were going to act or do the props.
*Earlier*
The whole class gathered into a circle and sat on the floor to decide the casts.
"I think Taeil is suited for Javert." Minhyuck suggested. The others nod in agreement.
Taeil just shrugged. "Sounds fine. As long as I have a role though." I was kinda shocked he accepted the role.
"Kihyun will be Jean Valjean, Rose will be Eponine, Nayeon will be Fantine..." The list goes on and luckily, no one objected at their role until Minhyuck said my name. "...and Yukhei will be Marius."
My eyes widened at the role. So I'm going to kiss someone now?
Minhyuck clapped his hands. "So no objections? Ok great. The others who don't have roles can be the props or costume committee then tell me if you want to join to be extras before the play. Let's go to the Theater room."
I tried to protest but he left the room first followed by everyone else, except for Jungwoo and Taeil.
I turned to my friends. "I-I can't have a role that involves romance. I suck at that shit." I said and put my hands on my face.
I felt a hand caressing my back slowly. I thought it was Jungwoo since he couldn't speak and I don't understand sign language, so this must be his other way of comforting.
"It's fine Lucas. Just concentrate on your acting. I feel like all the year levels will watch us but Mr. Lee won't announce it because it will be nerve wrecking for us." Taeil spoke up.
That made me more nervous. I don't like my role, and I even hate it because of Naeun, who got the role of Cosette.
She's been chasing me ever since I got here, which was only last week. It irritated me that I already told her I'm not interested but she kept on pushing herself.
I also caught a glimpse on her when Minhyuck announced I was going to be her partner. I shruddered at that thought.
*Present*
I tried to reason with our director but he won't listen so I gave up. My last resort is our scriptwriter, Kyungsoo.
He was busy with his laptop and Minhyuck was helping the props commmittee since the actors don't have the script yet.
I approached him. "Hi hyung. Can I talk to you?" He looked up and I swear I got scared a bit from his stare. I find him cute but not as cute as Jungwoo.
Ok stop it Yukhei. I shook that thought and reasoned with Kyungsoo. He agreed at my request and I got so happy, then left him working on the script.
I come up to the stage to help the props, Jungwoo decided to be in the costume committee because he doesn't want to do too much work.
"Hey you need help?" I asked. The boy with blond hair looked up. I tried to remember his name. "Minho, right?"
He nod. "Yeah, I just need you to hold this while I paint. My legs hurt from crouching too long."
We got to work until he was finished, it took only 20 minutes to finish it. "Thanks man. Jungwoo's in the backstage if you're looking for him." I nod and went to the dressing room located backstage.
I opened the door to see my classmates on costumes and other costume committees running to the clothing rack, grabbing clothes here and there.
I walk up to Taeil, who was dressed up by Jungwoo. "You look great." There was a hint of sarcasm in my voice but I think he didn't caught it.
"Why thank you my good sir." Taeil talked in an old fashioned way with French accent. We laughed and talked for minutes until the casts were called to practice the first part of the script.
The other students gathered at the seats to watch them practice on stage. I sat at the back of the room to have some alone time.
I sighed. I wasn't included in the practice since my character appear in the middle of the movie.
Minhyuck kept on repeating the scene where the bishop decided to let Jean Valjean stay the night.
While I was on my phone playing games, I felt someone sat beside me. I look over and it was Jungwoo. He was writing on a paper and showed it to me.
'Taeil's kinda funny wearing that. I can imagine him in make up for his character.'He silent giggle. I chuckled.
Maybe when we're not busy, I can help him get to speak again.

"Jungwoo said you look funny earlier in practice." After saying that, Taeil launched himself at Jungwoo and playfully hitting his fists on his shoulder.
Then we heard someone cleared their throat. Haechan was the one who did that with the other dreamers (Chenle told me that was their group name).
We were dismissed like 1 hour ago but Minhyuck told us to stay for practice.
"What did you do?" Haechan asked. His hands on his hips that looked him he has sass.
"What are you still doing here child?" Taeil asked him back. Haechan scoffed. "It's 6 PM- oh right you have practice for P.E." They nod. To be honest, they looked like kindergarten kids.
We talked for a while before parting ways. It was Jungwoo and I who stick together since Taeil lived near with the dreamers.
If Jungwoo didn't had his condition, we weren't this silent right now, but it was a comfortable silence.
We walked and walked until he reached his house. 'I'm here. You sure you can manage by yourself?' He typed on his phone and showed me his message. How cute.
"I'll be fine Woo, don't worry too much. I'll text you when I get home." I told him. I got closer and pressed a kiss on his forehead, which made him look like a tomato from blushing so hard.
Cute.
