Punching People in the Face and Laughing

Sometimes friendship stems from the weirdest places. Take strange openings for example. (Fourth wall break count: 1) For me, though, friendship came from the memes and jokes that we threw at each other.

As well as the food.

We met on the first day of middle school. It was just coincidence that we all ended up at the same table...and we all loved Hamilton. Yep. Hamilton brought us together. It just goes to show how helpful and life-changing Hamilton is. It was the start of a beautiful relationship; one that consisted of much bullying and trauma. But there were also fun times full of laughter and harmony. Friendship is like that sometimes.

BUT THEN (dun dun DUNNDSAFHASHFIPSAFD)

Kevin moved schools after 7th grade. It was quite the shame, really, but we still kept in touch. The internet is here for a reason. We expected to be separated for longer, but luckily ended up at the same highschool.

That's right.

3 years later, in 11th grade, we found ourselves in front of another school, all together. The trio; back at it again. Now at Wellston Private Highschool.

Starring Me, Alyssa! Alex, my best friend! And Kevin, my other best friend who isn't really that much of a best friend!

Said not-really-my-best-friend also just got punched in the face by an angry looking stranger after being optimistic and telling us (mainly himself, we weren't totally listening) "Let's do this guys."

Good for him.

The assailant is a pretty average guy. Mid-tier level. Average ability, blue hair, green eyes, and a kinda not-so-normal temper. I mean, who punches the new kid in the face? He literally JUST walked through the gates. Now I have the undying urge to punch him back.

Right after I finish laughing.

Kevin gets into a fighting position, looking already quite beaten. As Alex and I roll on the ground, he has a quick conversation with his bully. I hear a few words and a condescending voice. Alex and I start calming down and focusing once the guy lifts Kevin up by his collar whilst snarling in his face. Fortunately, we don't have to get involved as Kevin twists his arm. The blue-head immediately chases after running Kevin. Kevin turns around to say something to us....

But before he's able to do anything except bring his hand to his neck, another punch knocks Kevin out.

I'm sure he'll be fine.

Alex turns to the guy, "Bro! What the heck was that for?"

I nod in agreement, about to say something, but the idiot cuts me off. "I am not your bro. I am your king."

Yes. That is what he said. Word. For. Word. Alex seems irritated by what he said. I, on the other hand, am thoroughly amused by the turn of events. Especially because I know Alex is going to beat him into the ground.

He tells us to bow. We refuse.

Alex uses her Manipulation Ability to paralyze the guy.

We start stomping on his face and beating him into the ground-I told you. Author knows best (fourth wall break count: 2)

Kevin wakes up quickly just as the paralyzation wears off. Fortunately, he's already knocked out. 30 seconds is a long time to be brutally injured for.

"Sooooo," Kevin starts, "I'm assuming that's the guy that beat me up?"

Alex stomped on the card harder and I nodded my head. "And I'm also assuming you took him down easily and are now way stronger than me?"

I stop bullying the unconscious blue-head.

"We wanted to teach him that he can't just walk all over people," I explain, stomping one last time.

Kevin does not look amused. "So you just wanted a reason to beat somebody up?"

I contemplate the truth of his words. Well, not really. I mainly wanted revenge because he knocked Kevin out. But I must admit, it's satisfying to step on bullies. They deserve it.

We talk a little more before Alex and I decide to abandon Kevin to take the guy to the infirmary. It was my decision, of course. I'm not cruel enough to leave him injured on the ground. Besides, might as well take him there now while he was still in unconscious. . It made the job much easier.

We get like an hour worth of scoldings from the grumpy nurse who seemed to have an everlasting scowl on his face. Finally he lets us leave with a 'late' note because obviously, hour long lectures make us late.

I personally hate being late, so I rush to the classroom. Alex reluctantly follows my lead and we burst into the classroom. Alex holds up her late card and interrupts the person in the front. "Sorry. We had to take some dude to the infirmary."

The teacher nods at us as we sit down. She turns to the speaker at the front. "Okay Ke-, you can sit down now."

He starts to say something, but the teacher cuts him off with a glare and some stern words. "I SAID GO BACK TO YOUR SEAT!" (Is she related to Doc?)

'Ke-?' What kind of name is that? I spot the said owner of the name as he hits his seat with an indignant look on his face. Needless to say, it's hard to control my laughter once I realize that 'Ke-' is actually Kevin.

I'd recognize that green hair and yellow eyes anywhere! (Okay, maybe I wouldn't.)

Alex is then called up to introduce herself. "Hi. I'm Alex. If you mess with me I will -censored -censored -censored- your -censored -censored -censored- So don't -censored- -censored- because if you do, well, I don't think you want your -censored- -censored -censored -censored-."

I mentally facepalm and prepare myself for the teacher's wrath. Except it doesn't come. The gray-haired woman actually seems quite pleased with the development. She smiles at Alex, "

Amazing job. I can tell we'll get along splendidly."

We gape at the two of them as Alex gives the teacher her number and skips back to her seat with a content smile.

Oh, I can tell that I will not get along very well with the malicious teacher.

I get called up to the front for my introduction. Luckily, the teacher seems to be in a good mood. The students, after all, are all quite silent; as the majority of them are glaring at Alex. What a mess this was going to be.

I quickly finished my introduction and sat down. Nothing too fancy. It was really just my name.

This was already proving to be quite an exhausting day.
