But WAIT! I can't start the next part of the story yet, I have a little more to tell you! Only after that can I start the next chapter. Maybe retire for the day...and hopefully for the rest of my life. The next chapter may potentially never come. Don't hold your breath.
I'm kidding.
Anyways, with the chapter over with, Alex pulls me to the side and we take a walk. Right, I forgot to clarify. Author Alex and Author me decide to take a walk. Making three page chapters is hard work and we need a break.
So obviously we talk more about our chapters and what the story has in store. We also talk about the amazing fourth wall breaks. "Wow" I mutter, rereading her story. I lift my eyes, "You have...uh..." pausing, I see the mess in front of us.
Alex follows my gaze and we stare....at Kevin. And Kevin. Both on top of each other with the former groaning in pain. Author Kevin looks up, "A little help here guys?"
We ignore him and Alex steps over their bodies. "Shouldn't have made your character land on you."
Our Kevin sighs. "That's fair."
Kevin from another world looks up at us, extremely confused, as his counterpart gets up. We move on before a huge explosion piques our interest. After all, we didn't write that. It seems that dear Kevin wrote that part.
He also wrote the part where I make a typo and a witch from The School for Good and Evil appears out of nowhere. I'm not sure who exactly it is, but apparently Kevin wrote that I wrote 'witch' instead of writing 'which'.
I know that makes no sense, but bear with me.
Pulling out my red pen, I scrawl out a few words in the back of the page. I DO NOT MAKE TYPOS. Adding to my anger, I scratch out the word 'witch' that has suddenly appeared in the story. The witch disappears.
Suddenly, Alex rips the paper and pen out of my hands with a smirk. She winks at me. Grinning back, we turn to Kevin and Kevin. "Oh goodness, we're breaking the fourth-uh- wall?"
Unfortunately, Kevin and Kevin seem to have actually broken the fourth wall. It lies in pieces under them with bird poop and duct tape. Little ants crawl up and around them, taking the smaller pieces of gray concrete with them.
Well look what he's done.
Now we can't make fourth wall breaks until we fix the wall! Kevin's duct tape obviously did NOTHING. Alex, undeterred, now has more anger in her body. The pen slashes furiously on the paper before she looks up.
Both Kevins are blasted into the air.
Welp. See you guys next time! We'll be sure to fix the wall, so don't worry. It might malfunction a little more than it already does though. But, whatever.
Bye!
