playing old songs and
reminiscing nights youd sing along
with me and talk
with me and always make me laugh
smile, giggle, tell me what i'd want
to hear, like "i love you babygirl,
don't you ever hold another fear"
i thought that's what you wanted for me
no fears, no tears
no sadness in here
you made me feel wanted
worth it, beyond it
i was happy every day to wake up to your face
now i'm always waking up in the wrong place
it was great when you were mine
now those memories feel like a disgrace
