pouring rain, staring out the window
dimly lit, booth in the corner
or what about something more serene?
a salty ocean scene
the air gusts over the sand
the smell of sunscreen permeates
how about a sultry summer sunset
dusty dusk
red, orange, purple, pink
marbled over your horizon
jet stream sky
the sound of a dove cry
what about winter in its finest?
the frost so cold it reaches your bones
you shiver, but with delight
warming comfort when you come back home
chocolates and cakes
cuddling too
and autumns quite similar
just with a different view
the warm colors, each different hue
crunching leaves to jump into
abundant with nature's fruit
there's quite no weather, no season apart
that i can't love with all my heart
