Sometimes depression means
Turning on all the lights because it's too scary to face darkness
Turning off all the lights because darkness resonates with your thoughts
Talking a lot ,
Suddenly someone listens
Talking nothing ,
' cause what if they hear the emptiness behind your words
Cleaning your room ,
It keeps your mind occupied
Having a huge mess in your room ,
Because the last thing you could find strength to would be cleaning it
Shutting yourself out because you dont feel worthy of relationships
Spending time with people because you feel safer than when you're alone
Pushing away help because you don't want to be a burden
Screaming for help but it seems your screams are silent
Running away because of people would actually know how dark it is inside you they would be the one's running
People leaving you because they don't understand it's not you
Leaving everything the way it is because you are afraid of speaking up
Speaking more like screaming up because with time it got too much to handle
Getting weaker
Getting stronger
Being alone because you hate being with people
Being with people because you hate being alone
Being really tired
Being not able to sleep
Wanting to get out of here
Not wanting to leave
Feeling depression leaving
Feeling depression crawling back
Wanting to die
Wanting to live
Trusting others
Not trusting yourself
Loving life
Hating life
Understanding other people
Wishing you wouldn't understand
Knowing how much power behind "how are you ?" is
Knowing people care
Knowing people don't care
Robbing your breath
Which sounds good to me
Trusting people
You shouldn't have trusted
Running from people
You shouldn't have run from
Regretting not fighting it earlier
Although you know you wouldn't have had the strength
Knowing how to smile when you feel the opposite
Cherishing every smile that you can feel in your heart
Standing tall
Whilst falling apart
A fight between death and life
A fight that's already been won
I could tell you I'm bleeding to death
You wouldn't react
Because you only believe in visible wounds ( internal wounds are non-existing)
