Jo's pov

I woke up with Hero's arms wrapped around me so tight I could hardly breathe. "Hero wake up" I say as I move his hair from his forehead. "Hey sweetlangford baby" he says smiling and leans up for a kiss. I laugh at his new term of endearment for me. "Sweetlangford baby really Hero" I chuckle. "What you don't like it?" He says laughing back. This is the Hero I love. Wait did I just say love? I meant like. This is the Hero I like the carefree, loving, sexy guy. "I need to shower and eat before we go" I tell him getting up from the bed and tying my silk bathrobe around me. I grab my phone and clothes before heading to the bathroom. Mercy stops me in the hallway "Jo you forgave my brother?" She asks me questionably noticing Hero sprawled across my bed still. "Sort of we aren't boyfriend and girlfriend though. Just seeing how it goes. No labels." I tell her. "You sure you can handle that?" She asks me knowing what I dealt with in my past since the first week me and Mercy became extremely close and I told her everything. How Jacob cheated and broke my heart. How I slept with 2 guys after him but have no clue what their names are because I was only using them for sex. How Jacob came back into my life and we ended up back together only for him to cheat on me again. "Yes Mercy I can handle it" I try and assure her but somewhere in the back of my head I know she's right. "By the way I need to borrow a bathing suit do you have any?" I ask her. "Yeah I do but what do you need one for?" She asks me. "Your brother said he was taking me somewhere special to his secret spot and that I need a bathing suit" I reply. She runs to her room coming back a few minutes later with a black bikini. "Your boobs are a little bigger than mines but this one should fit" she says handing me the bikini. "Just be careful Jo I don't want to see either of you get hurt by this" she says sincerely. "I will" I assure her closing the door. As im taking my clothes off my phone rings and it's Felix having saved his number in my phone. "Hey Felix sorry we just woke up over here what's up" I say. "Hey Jo I just wanted to talk you about last night and let you know to blame me for everything because Hero told me no girls and I never relayed the message to the other guys." He says in a rush. "There are girls all over the world Felix it wasn't your fault Hero got so drunk he kissed another girl." I say to him. "We were all pretty wasted but I just want to let you know I was watching Hero that whole time because Jack had just came in and I wasn't sure how he was going to react and then when Elle sat on him his eyes were shut like he was about to pass out until she started kissing him and well you know the rest." He says. "Did he really knock her to the floor as soon as he heard my voice?" I ask him. "Yup right on her bony arse" he says laughing. "Thanks Felix your a good friend" I tell him. "No problem mam and please tell Hero for me so he doesn't kill me" he says. We exchange good byes and hang up.

Hero's pov

Finally feeling somewhat better after catching some sleep with Jo. It was so great to wake up to her smiling face again. She teased me about the new nickname that I came up with. I'm new to this I usually don't even remember the girl's names much less come up with cutesy little names for a girl. But there I was calling Jo babe, sweetlangford baby and even love. I have never said I love you to anyone besides my family. Do I love Jo? I know I like her so much that my heart breaks at the thought of losing her. Is that love? The sound of my sister and Jo talking snaps me out of my little daydream. She was asking Jo if she forgave me and if she could handle this. And Jo was saying that we aren't in a relationship just seeing where this goes and that she could handle it. Why is she so insistent on telling everyone that we aren't in a relationship? As soon as the bathroom door shuts I jump out of bed. "Mercy I need your help" I ask her going into her room. "With what?" She asks me. "Do you know Jo's favorite food?" I ask her. "Not sure why?" She asks. "What's with all the damn questions?" I ask her running my hands through my hair. "I'm trying to figure out this whole situation big bro" she says sarcastically. "What situation me and Jo?" I ask her. "Yeah dummy what else. Look I see that your trying here the thing is that Jo's had some pretty shitty guys in her life and she's vowed to never be used again so if any part of you has any doubt and you only want to get in her pants then just tell her that" she says. "I think I love her Mercy" I whisper not wanting Jo to overhear us. "What do you mean think you either love her or you don't" she says back to me.
