Her father passed away and all she had was her brothers Kyran and Xavier. They ran away at the age of 15 a d ended up stumbling across a tavern, the boar hat. Meliodas seemed to have his eye at another at first...

Hikari's pov

I walk down the stairs, swinging my hips happily. This morning, Meliodas had left me a note asking me to go hunting with him and just him. He said that he wanted to write it incase Elizabeth heard, he loves her, but I'm starting to think as a friend. I sit down gracefully at the bar. "Mornin'! how are ya today?" I say smiling at Elizabeth from behind the bar. I like her. Shes a nice girl but he way hshes obsessed with Melioda---- ugh I'm not that type of person. "Morning Hikari! I'm alright thank you! How did you sleep?" Elizabeth asks
I lean on the bar table "Not all that well buuuut you know me, I can sleep on just bout anythang!" I laugh. "Never could get over that accent Ari" I turn around to see Aerin walk up to the bar table. She sits next to me and smiles. "Mornin' Aerin" I say as Elizabeth puts a cup of ale down for me "Are you SURE you want to drink, in the morning?" Elizabeth asks
"She always does. It's the only thing she's good at" Aerin laughs. I give her the deathstare and punch her around the face. "You make me sound like an alcoholic. At least I pick my own clothes instead of my brother!" I laugh. Aerin laughs. We arent insulting eachother, we do this as a joke but usually we go too far. "Well at least I didn't have a manipulative mother who made me still dress like what a lady 'should be'" She laughs but I don't. I clench my fists and stand up abruptly. I slap her the walk out of the tavern. It's not her fault. We were only joking but.. Heck, I don't even know. I sit at the edge of a cliff with my legs dangling off.

Aerins pov
I just sit there and then guilt washes over me. I shouldn't have said that... UGH! I'm so stupid. I face palm the table in front of me "Ale pleasse......" I groan.
"What's up with you" I hear a soft and lovely voice. I turn around and see ban. I can't help but smile "Oh um... I just p*ssed Hikari off.." I say my smile fading. "Youre ballsy. Shes a scary woman" Ban says grabbing ale from behind the bar and sitting next to me. I close my eyes and lean on his arm "I know.... I know" I mumble.
"Hey guys--- A-Aerin! H-hey!" I hear Kings voice and sure enough, when I turn I see King, Gowther and Meliodas walk in. "Hey King, guys" I say waving. I notice meliodas' smile slowly fade. "Meliodas. I upset her. Shes gone out" I say. He nods and dashes off.

Hikaris pov

I dangle my legs off of the edge and look at my clothes. It is similar how she used to dress me. ARGH! what am I thinking?! The skirt I WANTED. I took it. What I want I'll take. Trust me. I hear footsteps and put my hand on my wip. I turn quickly "Calm down, its just me" Meliodas says sitting down next to me. "Mel...Meliodas? Why are ya here?" I ask
"To check on you of course. I heard that she upset you, I wont ask what about but I need to check up on ya." He says smiling as usual. I look away. His smile is....cute... EEK WHAT THE HELL!? "I caught wind that you and the sins are going on a new journey? Ain't ya?" I ask feeling a tad gloom still. "Uh yea... Sorry I didn't tell you Ari" Meliodas says putting his hand on his neck. "Nah... Its fine.... I... I just... Can't I come with ya'll?" I ask looking up at him sadly.
"Thing is, I don't want you hurt. I don't want Elizabeth to come so I told her she had to be careful. Which means I can't really say no to you can I?" Meliodas says. He goes to say something but the words don't come out. "how many times do I have to tell ya? I can fight! I can do this! The king wouldn't have gave me this if he-- I say my voice getting loud.
"Hikari! Enough! I know you can fight but..... Ugh.... Ari I'm sorry.." Melioda lays down and rubs his face before throwing his hands by his sides. I stay quiet.

Aerins pov
I walk outside. Me and ban decided we'd go collect berries. As we walk I actually trip on a large rock. "GAH!" I squeal and shut my eyes tightly without knowing. I realise I haven't hit the ground? I open my eyes and see bans hand on my chest holding me upright. "Thanks I - - - -" I say but realise where his hand actually is. I kick him hard "OW!!! SORRY! I DIDN'T REALISE!!! SORRY! SORRY!" Ban yells. I cross my arms over my chest "What EVER.." I mumble, my face bright red.
