9th November, 1955

"So, let me get this right..."

"Yep." Paul laughed, looking ahead to the houses infront, the sky slowly going darker and darker.

"He goes into a car, that was originally supposed to be a fridge, but the... Directors changed it, yeah?"

"Yeah." He nodded in amusement, waiting for John to finish.

"And then, he also ends up in 1955?"

"Mhm."

"And he... Falls in love with his mother?" John asked, in complete disbelief.

"No, his mother falls in love with him." Paul laughed.

"Still. That's as bad as..." He shivered, also starting to laugh.

"No- well yes... But she didn't know it was him." Paul explained. "And she feels weird about it later..."

"Yeah but like, could she not tell?"

"Well there was one line, in the car, where after she kissed him, she went 'when I kiss you... It feels like I'm kissing my brother', or something like that." He even attempted the girlish accent.

"Oh, Lord..." John groaned out. "So, what you're saying, is that I shouldn't have high hopes for the film industry then?"

"Hey! That's one of the best films ever made!"

"Exactly...!" John laughed. "Anyway, does he ever end up back in... 1985?"

"Yes. Spoiler... And also he makes it so that mother falls in love with his father again. So happy ending."

"Right, well atleast she wasn't completely love struck over her own son for much longer then."

"Aye." Paul laughed. "It's a great film though, honestly. I can't wait for you to watch it."

"You know, I can't wait to watch it either." He smiled. "Is it just that movie?"

"No, there's two more."

"Are they good?"

"Amazing, but nothing can beat the first movie." John nodded, clearly interested in this subject.

Paul had spent the last few minutes telling John all about modern pop culture and movies, somehow ending up on movies of the past somehow. He wasn't giving John too much information on the future, but he wanted to give him enough so that he wasn't completely clueless.

And also, who doesn't want to know anything about what the future is like?

"You know, this Marty guy reminds me a lot of you..."

"I guess. Except I didn't fall in love with my mother... I fell in love with you." Paul smiled, both of them pausing leaning, forward to put their heads together.

"Do you think you'll be here forever?"

"I don't see how I'm gonna get back, so maybe..." Paul shrugged, though a small smile was on his face. "But, I don't know. I mean, I'm still just playing it as I go along... Like a video game."

"Video game?"

"Like a board game, but on the TV."

"Of course. I'm not even surprised anymore." John chuckled, before quieting down again. "But in all seriousness, I wish you could stay forever... Bring your family here too. I just wanna be here with you, forever."

"I know... But I'm not supposed to be here, John."

"Not technically, but... But you can adapt, right? I mean, animals adapt... Not that you're an animal but-"

"John, I wish I could. I wish I was born here, in the 40's like you... But I wasn't, so we're just gonna have to wait and see what happens."

"Yeah..." John sighed, pulling his head away from his lovers, both of them beginning to walk once again. "I wish I could come with you if you do end up going back."

"Me too, but you've got a job here, remember?"

"Yeah, sure. Becoming one of the best musicians to ever live, as you say." He sighed.

"John, you can do it. You and the rest of your friends. Maybe even I could help, if I stick around long enough." He smiled. "Or if... If I do end up never going back. Maybe we could do it all together?"

"Oh, I pray..."

"Me too, Johnny boy." Paul sighed. "But the future is gonna change either way. Where I'm from, Rock music died after the 50's. But we're gonna do a back to the future move, right? And we're gonna make sure that it never dies."

"Alter the timeline..."

"Hell yeah, Johnny." He smiled, causing John to laugh.

"You're so brave and confident, Macca. You know that?"

"What makes you think that?"

"You really believe that we can get to the top, don't you?"

"Yeah I do, Johnny. You all have such talent."

"You do too..."

"But I'm not guaranteed to stick around." He sighed.

"Yeah, I know." John frowned.

"Don't frown, Johnny. I wanna see that gorgeous smile of yours." He lifted his finger up to brush against John's cheek.

"I can't smile at the thought of losing you..."

"Then don't think about losing me. Think about the fact that I'm here now.. And we're gonna make some real memories, yeah?"

And at the thought of that, Paul saw a smile finally re-appear on John's face.

"Yeah."

(A/N- Another short chapter, I know. But once again, I had nothing else to add to this <3.)
