"May I sit here please?" I innocently asked Alexis looking into her surprised blue eyes. Of course I would be hypnotised by them. Of course I looked like I was being rude by just staring at her. Of course I was acting like a stupid little boy.
"Err..excuse me? I said u may sit down? Are you okay?"
"Oh right!..sorry! Thank you! I'm Aaron!"
"Nice to meet you Aaron. I'm Alexis and I recently joined college. It's nice to have someone to talk to during lunch."
I don't know why but she seemed like a person with a familiar voice. But I couldn't spot it. I could only think of how sweet it sounded and made me feel like conversing with her all day!

"So Alexis..where are you from? I haven't seen you around the locality before."

"Well you seem to be asking as if you know the locality pretty well."

"I do. I was born and brought up here so obviously I know the neighbourhood inside out. You wouldn't want to dare to question me on that."

"Oh wow. I'm sorry. It's just that I thought you were one of those kind of guys..well never mind..I actually moved here around two years ago. So no I'm not that new around here but maybe it's because I don't come out often that you asked me."

"Well why don't you? Your parents don't allow you out?"

"My p-parents?...Uhm. I think I got to go for class. I'm going to be late. It was nice meeting you Aaron. "

Did she just walk off on me? And did I just watch her go away?
What was I doing?
Aaron get your grip together. You need to know how to ease yourself into a conversation.
But while I was thinking..I realised that I did absolutely nothing wrong for her to not answer my question. Oh well...I guess I would have to find her again.

Alexis' POV

I hurried down the hall to go to my class. I was well ahead of time but once Aaron asked me about my parents I couldn't seem to answer that.
I mean it's not like my aunt doesn't let me go out. She always wanted me to go out with any of my limited number of friends or just take a walk around the neighbourhood.
The only reason I was staying indoors all the time was because I didn't want to loose my aunt. I wanted to spend every possible second I missed with her all my life. Afraid even she would disappear if I were to step out.
How would I be able to answer anyone who asked me that? So to avoid the situation completely I had to go away from Aaron.

But while I was sitting though history class...there was this sudden thought in my head that Aaron's voice was a familiar voice I've heard.
But I couldn't spot it from my empty memory.
Could it be the same voice from the dream? Ah no! It can't be. I immediately erased that thought from my mind and continued listening to class.
