HARRY'S POV:

*play She Sets The City On Fire by Gavin Degraw.*

I watch as she walks ahead of me, a beanie on her head, her long hair down her back, and her eyes wide, looking around at the city that surrounds her. I keep my hands in my pockets as I watch her. She's got a long trench coat that reaches the middle of her calf. She wears those jeans I love, the ones that are an old style, baggy on her legs but tight on her waist, paired with a sweater, tucked in, and Dr Martens, shoes she'll never go without. It's cold here, but the cold air doesn't seem to bother her one bit. She looks over her shoulder at me, giving me a soft smile. I catch up to her quickly, and take her hand in mine but she pulls away instantly.

    "What about-"

"I don't care..." I make her aware one more time, and she looks down, taking my hand in hers. "Does it make you nervous?" I ask, keeping my other hand in my pocket as I hold hers.

"A little bit... I know you can't control it, and I'd never be upset with you for anything like that.. but it does make me a bit nervous." She admits, and I smile.

"Why?" I ask, wanting to hear her answer.

"Well... Well I know that your fans though kind, some can be... can be not so kind... and I know I'll be compared to the models, and superstars, and-"

"They've got nothing on you." I inform her, and she laughs.

"Oh... I know." She gives me a confident smile, and lets go of my hand, skipping in front of me, turning heads of the new yorkers on the street surrounding us. "Do you hear that?" She asks, cupping her hand over her ear.

"Hmmm, having a hard time hearing, tell me what it is?" I ask, and she laughs, stopping on the street corner.

"The city is calling us Harry Styles." She spins around, and as she does, white flakes start landing in her hair.

"I think it's time we answer." I smile, looking up as the snow falls. "Where to first?" I ask, and she smirks over her shoulder.

"Times Square, and then central park... The boring places." She tells me, and I smile. "I've never been to the Brooklyn Bridge." She tells me.

"So we'll go there... Then tomorrow I've got plans." I tell her.

"What kind of plans?" She furrows her brows, and I smile.

"The kind where we go to all the open markets we can find, and buy pretty flowers, and all the things you can wrap your head around."

"And then we go to an arcade." She adds, and I tilt my head to her. "What? Are you afraid that I'll kick your ass in ski ball?" She asks, and I raise my eyebrows.

"You're so on Darlene Summers." I shake my head, and look out as we walk New York streets. She takes my hand from me now, and leans into my arm as we walk. I can feel eyes on me. I know people are noticing, I always know, and normally that thought would put me on edge but right now it's the last thought in my mind. I told Jeff what I was doing, I warned him about the headlines, and all of that, and he said if I was doing this for me. If it was going to make me happy then he'd deal with all of it... and that's why I love that man.
