1MONTH LATER
The past few months were hectic. I graduated and got accepted into college. There was also a large amount of drama.
I couldn't believe Marinette actually teamed up with Chloe. The incident that day took a large tole on mine and Marinette's friendship, and on my relationship with Kagami. I know she helped Chloe because she was threatened, but what could have Chloe found out that terrified Marinette? I'll never know. Kagami and I talked out what happened, I didn't tell that Marinette was apart of why it happened.
I did notice something different about Marinette though when I saw her the other day. Her stomach poked out more than it used to and she was kind of glowing. I could really tell at the pool that she gained some weight.

I walked downstairs to meet my father. I knocked on his office door.
"Father?"
"Come in." The cold voice said.
"You wanted to see me?" I questioned as I shut the door behind me.
"Yes, I wanted to talk about college. Have you been accepted into any?" My father asked.
"I have father. The college is here in Paris too." I said smiling.
"That's very good. What do you plan on studying?" He asked me.
"I was planning on studying photography." I smugly said.
"Do you still plan on modeling?" He asked.
"On the side, yes. I do have one question though."
"Ask it." My father said finally making eyes contact with me.
"When my college semester starts, can I get my own apartment?" I sheepishly asked.
"Yes, but when you move out, I expect you to work for your own living." My father said coldly.
"You will cut me off?" I asked, confused.
"Yes, except I will help you in desperate times." My father said brightening up.
"Thanks father. Is that all?" I asked happily.
"That's all. Kagami should be here any minute, she'll be waiting for you." My father said smiling a bit.
"Alright, bye father." I said exiting his office.

I ran outside to meet Kagami. When I saw her I lifted her up and spun her around.
"What's got you in such a good mood?" Kagami giggled.
"My father said I could get my own apartment!" I said before kissing her cheek.
"What really?! Oh my gosh, this will convince my mom to move out!" Kagami said cheerfully.
We hugged each other for a while.
"You know we only have a few weeks until our marriage though." Kagami sighs.
"Wow, I didn't even realize. I am still in shock about this whole arranged marriage thing." I said awkwardly.
"I know right. They say it's for business, but we know otherwise." Kagami chuckled.
We then held hands and walked to the river. We sat on the bench and ate Andre's ice cream. I then heard someone talking not far from behind me.

"I was on Twitter last night and you will not believe what Chloe posted." A female voice said.
"Oh my, what did she post?" Another voice asked.
"See for yourself." The female voice laughed.
"How do we know this is true?" The other voice asked.
"We ask the person themselves. Duh." Said the female voice.
"Are you crazy? We can't just walk up to Marinette and ask if she's pregnant!" The other voice lectured.

I froze and dropped my ice cream. Is she really pregnant? It's probably just a rumor, it came from Chloe after all.
"Adrien?? Adrien??? ADRIEN???" Kagami yelled.
"Huh yeah?" I said snapping out of my thoughts.
"What's wrong? You dropped your ice cream." Kagami asked worriedly.
"Nothing. I just remembered something I had to do. I have to go." I said standing up. "I'll talk to you later."
"Alright." Kagami said watching me walk away.

As I walked to Marinette's house, I checked Chloe's Twitter, and the post was there.
I got to her house and knocked on the door. Marinette opened the door.

MARI'S POV

I had moved out of mama and papa's home and got my own apartment in London. It was my last day here in Paris. I woke up and showered. Mama and papa were going on a trip for their anniversary, so I was left in charge. I am 24 weeks or 6 months, I can barely see my toes, my breasts ache, and my feet swell. I didn't expect any visitors so I put on a tank top and some yoga pants, and started binge watching my favorite show. I was sadly interrupted around 12, by a knock on my door. I thought it was Alya, so I didn't bother to dress up. I opened the door and smiled.

"Hey Al-" I started, then I saw who it really was and my face filled with terror.
"Hi Marinette." Adrien said awkwardly. I shut the door in his face and went to get a blanket.
"Sorry about that." I said fake smiling.
"Can I come in?" He smiled and asked.
"Sure." I said, walking towards the stairs.
Adrien shut the door behind him and we both went upstairs. I sat down on my couch in the living room.
"So what's up?" I asked, while turning the TV off.
"I was wondering if you saw what Chloe posted on Twitter." Adrien calmly stated.
"I haven't." I said while going and checking her Twitter. Air left my body, I looked at my belly, and I looked at Adrien.
"I just wanted to know if it's true, and if it is, is it mine?" Adrien said looking at me full of questions.
"I-it's not true. I-I know I gained weight but I'm not pregnant." I lied.
"Oh. Well people are talking about you." Adrien said in a relief.
"I'll deal with it. Thanks for notifying me." I said fake smiling.
"It's no problem." Adrien said getting up and walking to the door.

I got up to walk Adrien out. After he left I made a post on Twitter then cleaned up. I grabbed my subway ticket, my luggage, and started walking to the subway station. I took my seat on the London subway and took a breath.

The subway stopped and I got off. I took a cab to the apartments. Once I got to my new apartment, I took a deep breath. I couldn't believe I was here already, I was happy.
I unpacked my luggage and started setting up a crib. After I did that, I made dinner and watched some TV. When I got full I changed into my pajamas and laid down in my new bed.

I felt relieved that I wasn't in Paris anymore. I was getting a fresh start in a new place I could call home. I rubbed my stomach and soon drifted off into a quiet slumber.
