The hot sun shined down on me as I sat on the park bench. Today was my 1 year anniversary, and we agreed to meet at the park in front of my house. Occasional chirping, along with the sound of the fountain, kept me company as I waited for my love.

    "Marinette!" A smile crept onto my face as I stood up and faced the voice.

    He pulled me into his warm embrace, making me feel fuzzy inside. After a while he pulled away from the hug.

    "Close your eyes," He instructed.

    "Why?"

    "You will see...after you close them," His soothing voice answered and I could not help but to obey.

    With my eyes closed my body seemed more wary of what's going on. What seems like an eternity goes by as I feel something cold rest on my chest.

    "You may open your eyes," Without sparing a second my eyes flew open to glance at my new accessory. It was a gold heart necklace with a white jewel. My heart melted at the beautiful gift.

    "Adrien, it's beautiful.. I love it!" I exclaim as I peck his cheek.

    "I am glad you love it," He said with a warm smile before saying,"Also look at the back of it."

On the back of the necklace our anniversary date was engraved. I couldn't take my eyes off of my gift, as I was just so happy. Adrien hugged me while I blushed like a fool.

"Adrien, thank you so much. You're the best boyfriend in the whole world,"

"Anything for you m'love," His response made the moment even more precious.

    I made Adrien some dinner and sweets at the bakery. My parents had gone to visit my uncle in Shanghai so tonight was the best night to invite Adrien over without being bothered. Not that I didn't like Adrien being around my family, it's just they try to feed him everything possible in the span of 15 minutes!

"Thanks for the dinner, m'love, everything was so good!" Adrien thanked me and I slightly blushed.

"It was nothing really, besides that wasn't what I had planned for you," I sheepishly said as I took his dirty dishes.

"If that's the case, let me do the dishes then," He said as he turned on the tap.

"You sure?"

"Positive!" His eye smile convinced me.

After he finished the dishes we went up to my bedroom where he sat on the chaise. I scurried around the room quickly, making sure everything was ready. When I was satisfied with the product I spun around with a huge cheeky smile on my face. A white box with a pretty red ribbon and a little card that was decorated with pink and red flowers that wrote, 'Happy Anniversary!'. Adrien's eyes lit up as he unwrapped the box to find a red and black polka-dotted onesie along with a ladybug charm. (A/N- They do not know their secret identities)

"I wanted to do something that represented working together through good and bad times, so I did Ladybug and Chat Noir," I said as I pulled out a matching cat onesie, "Plus I know how much of a fanboy you are for Ladybug."
