A Fight Lost -Muli POVs

Mari's POV
It has been 7 hours and we are almost to the hospital. We figured we would wait until we left the hospital to decide where the twins and I would stay.

We pulled into the hospital parking area and parked close to the entrance of the hospital. I grabbed a diaper bag and put Emma into a carried, Adrien put Louis in a carrier and carried the car keys, and we headed to Kagami's room.

We knocked on her door before entering. Adrien went inside first and I followed behind slowly. Kagami was very pale, skinny, and looked exhausted. I sat Emma's carrier on the floor, she was asleep, and waved at Kagami. Kagami smiled softly but her attention span was very short, it was sad to see.

Adrien took Louis out of the carrier and was showing him to Kagami. Adrien seemed more at ease now that he was next to Kagami. Kagami kept asking to see Emma, so I took Emma out of the carrier and showed her to Kagami. Kagami just smiled.

Kagami's POV

I knew I was dying. I couldn't barely move or speak. Adrien had brought the twins and Marinette. None the less I was happy, at least I won't be forgotten.

They showed Emma and Louis to me, they stood side by side with the twins. I could just smile, the life I wanted was standing in front of me. Adrien seemed happy and I knew Marinette would make sure he would always be happy.
"Y..you guys..are meant to..be" I wearily said.
They just looked at each other surprised but then smiled. I was scared of dying before I could say bye to them. Now that I see they are happy, I can finally die peacefully.

Mari's POV

We stayed for about an hour, visiting hours were almost up. So Adrien and I put the babies in the carries, said our goodbyes and left. I just decided to stay at Adrien's place since it's late and my parents would surely be asleep by now.

We arrived at an apartment that looked like a house. I got out and took the babies inside, while Adrien carried in the luggage. The layout of his place was nice and modern. There were two bedrooms, one a nursery and an office, the other a master bedroom. One bath and one half bath, the kitchen had a clear view of the living room. The laundry area was tucked away in the half bath.

I sat down the carriers and Adrien gave me a tour. After the tour I placed the babies in their cribs and then made a quick snack. Adrien changed into some pajamas and started watching some TV. I finished making snack, I sat next to Adrien and ate snacks with him.

Not long after I sat down I started dozing off, in the end I ended up falling asleep on Adrien's shoulder.

I woke up around 10, which means I had only slept about 2-3 hours, Adrien was on his laptop next to me. I got up, changed into pajamas, and walked to Adrien.

"How long are you going to stay up?" I asked.
"Not too much longer." Adrien replied.
"Okay. I'll stay up until you head to bed." I said, sitting back on the couch.

Adrien shut the laptop and put it on the coffee table. He turned to me and smirked. I looked at him, admiring him.(👁👄👁) He then traced my lips with his finger. I went into shock and turned into a tomato. He laughed and then kissed me, obviously I kissed back. When the kiss broke we both laughed.

We made out a bit more, then he carried me to his room. He threw me onto the bed, out of breath.
"Jeez you're heavy." He chuckled.

I glared at him.
"Don't carry me then." I pouted.

He jumped onto the bed and kissed my forehead, but I moved away. He whimpered and whispered in my ear.
"Don't be like that, princess."
"Fine." I laughed and then kissed him.He pulled me into an embrace.

Soon after clothes were scattered and I had more love marks.

I had covered myself with covers and was now staring at the wall. Then Adrien moved closer to me and wrapped his arm around me.

"Night puurincess." He purred.
I immediately came out of my thoughts when I heard him purr. I swear I would have thought he was Chat Noir if I didn't know who was beside me. It then occurred to me that he could be, but before I could get carried away I fell asleep.

Next Morning

I woke up to find Adrien no where. I checked every room, I started to call him until I saw a note on the kitchen counter.

Morning princess,
I have gone to the hospital with the twins. I should be back by the time you see this. Hope you slept well.
P.s. Your breakfast is in the microwave.

I smiled at the note for a bit. Once I came back to Earth I showered and put on my clothes. My lips were a bit swollen and the hickeys from last night were very noticeable along my neck, so I put on a bit of makeup, just enough to cover it up. I was also so very sore, so I had to find a comfy but normal way to walk. Then I called my job for a vacation day.

I ate breakfast, Adrien's cooking was wonderful. I was watching TV when I decided I looked too good just to sit around for him so I grabbed my keys and headed to the hospital.

Adrien's POV

I woke up this morning very happy. I got out of bed carefully and went into the bathroom to shower. I laughed when I looked into the mirror. Marinette had left scratch marks, hickeys, and my lips looked pitiful. Both lips were swollen but only one had been bit.

I put ointment on the scratches and put on a sweater to cover the hickeys. Then I made Marinette some breakfast. Not longer after I did that I heard a soft cry. It was Louis, so I made him a bottle and ect. Same thing for Emma. When they were happy I dressed them in the outfits Marinette had packed for them, and put them in the car. I decided I wanted to go visit Kagami. I got breakfast for myself on the way there.

I got to the hospital and saw Kagami's mother in the waiting room crying. I then heard the doctor explaining that they did all they could. My mood completely died, I put the carriers down, I sat down and cried.

Suddenly I felt someone's hand on my shoulder. I looked up at who it was, it was Marinette. She had tears in her eyes and was saying something. I just hugged her tightly, and let her hug me back.
