Once I had what I came for I crept back out successfully. I left my wallet at home so I couldn't hitch
a taxi, therefore I walked home. Suddenly I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned to see Luka standing behind me with a wide smile. He had taken my by surprised, so I kind of just stared at him.
"What's up?" He asked breaking the silence.
"Just heading back to my hotel." I said, finally snapping out of my daze.
"Need a ride? It's too cold to be walking alone." Luka offered.
"No thanks, really. The cold lets me think rationally." I chuckled.
"You sure?" He questioned, not believing my excuse.
"Positive." I reassured.
"Okay, if you say so. If you need a ride, you know how to get me." Luka said, then smiled and walked away.
I turned back around and continued on my way. Soon I arrived at my destination, and with that I shut the hotel door just to flop down on the bed. I opened the diary, smiling as the first page was already eventful enough.
I spent most of my day just reading the old diary, having finished the last page an hour ago. The amount of times I mentioned Adrien and miraculous was unbelievable. It brought back many good and bad memories, like Tikki and Chat. I wonder what happened to him after I gave up my miraculous.
I sighed then got up to work on my school stuff. Studying took forever, mainly because I have mid-year exams and I don't wanna fail.
⇝Adrien's POV⇜
I had gotten the twins from Marinette's parents after we met up. Taylor was so excited to see Louis and Emma, her smile was very wide when I arrived with them. So far Louis was the fussiest, Emma got along with Taylor great, but Louis has threw a fit every time I get him close to her. Taylor felt a bit bad but felt occupied with Emma.
I had just bathed the twins and put them in their cribs. They have gotten so big since I last saw, I got the best pictures of them today. When I laid down beside Taylor, my phone started to ring. The caller ID said Marinette, so I answered.
"Hello?" I said answering my phone.
"How's the babies doing?" Mari asked.
"Good, they are asleep now." I told her.
"Did they get along with Taylor well?" Mari questioned. Taylor looked at me and raised an eyebrow.
"Emma did, Louis threw fits." I explained.
"Awe, I am glad Emma got along. Louis will come around, he is more fussy since he is teething now." Mari explained, Taylor had listened in and smiled.
"I am going to get off here, good night." I said.
"Night," Mari said then hanging up.
I put my phone on my nightstand and looked over at Taylor. She was raising up, getting ready to leave the room. But I grabbed her hand before she could leave, she smiled and laid back down. Then off to sleep we went.
This part is shorter than normal cause I lack motivation plus I am watching BTS fancams. ;-;
Forgive me for such a short chapter.
