Sleep- Multi POVS

In this chapter I experimented with third person, tell me if you like it. Also I am going to start including songs at the beginning of each chapter, you can comment a song you like and I will add it! 4 Months Later (Third person POV)

Luka and Marinette started going out sometime Marinette had moved back to Paris. In order to continue college, Mari had to do all online schooling. Marinette also got a job at her parent's bakery. Taylor and Adrien had been doing great, Adrien still hadn't dropped the 'L' word to Taylor, but she was fine with how things were. Louis still had nothing to do with Taylor, Emma was extremely attached to her though. Speaking of the twins, they were growing quickly, Louis has his first two teeth now.

The spring semester had ended for Marinette and Adrien so they were free until next semester, which lifted tons of stress of their shoulders. Adrien was offered a job at his dad's company, which he took. Marinette was still earning cash from her website, so she only worked at the bakery half the time.

~Mari's POV~

I kissed Luka's cheek before walking away from his home. Lately Luka and I have getting closer and closer, I haven't discussed my relationship with Luka to Adrien yet though. I shouldn't have to, but it's the right thing to do. Especially after the hidden pregnancy.

With that I started to call Taylor because Adrien wasn't answering. The line rang for a bit then I heard a voice pick up.

"Hello?" Taylor answered.

"Hey, is Adrien there?" I asked.

"No, he left some time ago." Taylor told me.

"Oh alright, thanks Taylor." I said, then hanging up the call.

As I went to unlock my apartment door, I noticed it was already unlocked. Fear rushed throughout my body at the realization. I went inside anyways, the lights were on in the living area. That's when I heard the fridge door shut, which made me jump. Soon I saw a head peeking over at me, and I let out a sigh of relief. Adrien was smiling goofily at the sight.

"I got your text and headed right over. Something up?" He asked.

"Not really, just needed to talk to you about something," I said as I took off my shoes.

"I'll be on the couch waiting for you." Adrien said, before walking over to the couch and taking a seat.

I took off my coat and headed over to the couch to have a seat next to the boy. Adrien was sipping from a bottle of water while watching me form my words.

"Okay, so. Basically I am seeing someone." I blurted out.

Adrien choked on the water. I immediately patted his back, he was calming down when I went to grab some paper towels. Having handed Adrien the paper towels, he started cleaning himself up.

"You alright?" I asked, feeling guilty.

"Yeah, you just scared me and it went down the wrong way." Adrien stated.

"Heh, I thought you just couldn't believe what I said." I said then let out a soft chuckle.

"Who are you seeing?" Adrien asked.

"Luka, the one that we went skating with." I told him.

"Oh, I know who you're talking about. I always thought he had a crush on you back then." Adrien said, kicking his feet up on the coffee table.

"Oh really? I never noticed anything back then." I sighed and face palmed. "Wanna watch a movie?"

"I didn't either and sure. What movie?" Adrien asked.

"I bought this new action movie, supposed to be good," I told him.

"Sure, why not. Taylor has work anyways so I'd be alone anyways." He told me.

I nodded and put the movie into the DVD player, then taking a seat next to Adrien.

5 hours later (Third person POV)

Soon after the movie began Adrien had fell asleep, and so did Marinette. Adrien woke up he felt a warm body up cuddling him, Adrien hugged the body close thinking it was Taylor. When his eyes opened he realized he wasn't in his home, that's when he realized Marinette wasn't Taylor. He went to raise up but Mari was too heavy.

"Marinette, wake up." Adrien whispered in her ear then lightly shaking her. When Marinette didn't budge he got louder. Soon Marinette's eyes fluttered opened.

"Marinette, I need up." Adrien said.

"Mmmph," Marinette grunted.

"Mari, I really need up, we fell asleep." Adrien told her.

At that moment Marinette raised up quickly and got off the couch. Her cheeks were a painted with light pink. Adrien raised up and checked the time, his jaw dropped.

"Sorry sorry sorry!" Mari continuously apologized. Adrien went and started putting on his shoes.

"It's fine, I have to be going though. Taylor is probably worried sick." Adrien sighed then opened the door.

"Sorry once again, get home safe." Mari told him.

"It's alright and thanks." He smiled and shut the door behind him.

Mari's POV

That was so embarrassing! I feel asleep on him, not only did I do that I also wouldn't let him up. Taylor was probably worried, I just wanted to hide.

I sighed as I messaged my mom asking how the babies were doing. She told me they were good and asked what time I would pick them up tomorrow. I told her an hour before the bakery opens then laid down in bed.

My body was exhausted and so was my mind. Feelings I was burying inside were digging out of their grave. These feelings are the ones I wanted to die, so so badly did I want them to just disappear. Nevertheless, they made my heart flutter and my cheeks burn up at the thought of him. Adrien was difficult to get over, a year and I am still stuck on him. It made me angry, I wanted to be able to move on and be happy. Luka was already showing so much care and love, but I still was stuck on my stupid ex that dumped me when I was pregnant.

I sighed, "He's not stupid, I am." I was the one who slept with him and got pregnant, he didn't know I was pregnant either. Never did I bother to tell him either, so really I didn't have a right to be mad. Maybe it was jealousy? Jealous of what though? The idea of Taylor with Adrien and my kids instead of me? That couldn't be it though, I was with Luka. Maybe I should just sleep on it, my mind is most likely trying to play tricks on me.

I got under my blankets and slowly fell asleep with a million thoughts rushing through my head. My life has just started and is already so difficult. Only can I hope to figure things out and make it through.
