It's been a few days since the break up. I've slowly started to accept that we aren't together anymore. Although I've had things distracting me, like Chat and Alya, the feeling wouldn't last forever. What made matters worse is that I've been super nauseous and puking lately, and the last thing I need is a nasty stomach bug.

Alya has been over almost everyday after the breakup. She is honestly the personification of an angel. When she comes over she brings snacks and watches movies with me. It made the rest of fall break way better.

"Marinette! You in your room?" I hear Alya yell. She just got here.

"Yeah! Cmon up!"

As soon as she lifted up the door she pulled out tons of snacks.

"No way!" I gasp, then laugh.

"Yes way! Oh btws I got you some medicine," she said, giving me the paper bags.

"Thanks, I would be lost without you," my puppy eyes made her laugh.

"Oh darling, I know," Her hair flips.

We both talked about internet drama for a bit before doing our own things. She was on my bed while I was working on something at my desk.

"Mari, I need to ask you something," she said as she came towards me with her phone in her hand.

"Mk, go ahead."

"Could you be pregnant?" I dropped my tool and looked at her in shock.

"No. Why?"

"Well when I went to the bathroom a few days ago you still had a brand new box of pads that was there last month. And you've been sick lately, it could be morning sickness," my heart stopped.

"I don't think so, I'm just late as usual," I say before turning back around.

"Mari, you're 3 weeks late. We start around the same time even if you're late. I think you should take a few tests to be sure," Alya shut down my reply.

With a sigh I agreed. We then got our purses and headed downstairs.

"Where you girls going? I just put some muffins in the oven," my mom asked.

"On a quick walk, we will be back soon," Alya answered.

My mom didn't ask anything more so we headed out. The nearest pharmacy wasn't but around the corner, luckily. We looked for reliable tests and bought about 4 different ones.

After countless bottles of water, 4 tests, and an hour the tests were ready. My hands trembled as I glanced at the marble countertop. Alya sat next to me and rubbed my back.

"I don't wanna check Alya," I mumbled.

"It's okay, I'll check for you," she sweetly said before getting up to look at each tests.

Her back stayed facing me for a bit before she turned around and looked me in the eyes. I rushed to them as her face was unreadable.

Positive.

Every single one of them were positive.

Alya didn't leave me alone as I cried. Her embrace was comforting but not enough. The pain I felt was terrible. Excruciating. Not only was I going through a breakup, I was also pregnant. What next? Flying human eating dogs?
