Trusting Betrayal

Chapter Five

"I am tired".Bailey snuggled against the covers.

"Seriously. Come on. It was just two rounds and you are tired already?" Anthony pulled back the covers and then stood up and walked over to the window, pulling the drapes.

Sunlight flooded in.

Bailey slapped a hand over a face. "That's not fair, Anthony".She groaned and tried to snuggle under the covers again.

"No, you don't".Anthony pulled her from the bed and caught her in his arms.

Bailey blinked pleadingly "Ten minutes?"

Anthony kissed her forehead "Let's just do it, sweetpie"

"Fine. Bully".She stuck out her tongue at him and quickly wore her gear "Let's go. Last one there is a loser". With that she raced for the pool.

"Cheat!" Anthony called after her as he also made a dash for the pool.

Gasping for breath, he burst into laughter as he watched Bailey squeal as she plunged into the pool. She pushed back her head from her face as she surfaced.

"What are you waiting for, Loser?".She splashed water at him.

"Coming!"Grinning, Anthony jumped into the pool, sending water in all direction and made a grab for Bailey.

Bailey squealed and they burst out laughing.

"Hey baby". Luke smiled at Andrea.

"Where have you been?".She eyed him suspiciously "I have been calling you since yesterday."

"Yeah. I was having drinks with Nathan".He moved closer to her "I am sorry. I was... just ... so busy".He caught her at the waist. Andrea tried to resist but couldn't withstand Lukes power and charm. He kissed her and she responded.

Luke smiled against her mouth. That much he was glad for.

Breaking the kiss, Andrea snuggled against his chest "I invited Allison for dinner"

At the mention of Allison's name, various warning bells started ringing in Luke's head and his fogged mind instantly cleared up. "You what?"

Andrea grimaced "You smell so much of liquor. Yeah, I said that I invited Allison for dinner" She pulled back "Is there a problem?"

Luke thought fast "It is just that I wanted to spend the night with you alone".He shook his head "You and I smuggled in cozily, the fire blazing in the hearth, eating roast chicken, drinking a bottle of your favorite wine, catching a movie alone".He kissed her again "Doing other stuffs..."

Andrea was baffled "Seriously? You want to do all that?"

"Yeah. I want to" Luke smiled "With you"

Andrea smiled too "Fine. I will just uninvite her then"

Luke whirled her around.Whatever. He released her. Thank goodness! "Uninvite her then. I will be upstairs" He kissed her again before going upstairs.

Andrea could only stare at his retreating back, baffled.
