Prologue:

"Almost there!" Said Dylan, the obstetrician.  "I can see his head.”

"Is everything alright?” Kate asked.

"Great!" You’re son is very pretty.

” Its a boy?"

"And he’s heavy!" Doctor said.

"He looks like you.” William said messing with Kate.

"Look, Emily.”  She turned to me

"Its a beautiful royal baby” I laughed.

Emily and Kate were friends since university and until Kate met William they were together almost 24/7. At Kate’s wedding both of them got together again, and now Emily was birth auxiliar at prince George’s birth, her son. Kate wouldn’t let that anybody else in any way to do this, although William had tried to impose Scott, the Royal Family doctor, she didn’t allowed at all. What took Emily to be flattered, but also a bit embarrassed and afraid. As a legitim Britain citizen and having the responsibility to work together with the obstetrician who would bring to world the third successor of Britain’s King is a lot of pressure.

Godfathers

A week later Kate, Will and George, the royal baby, had already returned from Kate’s parents house and were at Buckingham Palace so that great grandma Elizabeth, grandpa Charles and uncle Harry could enjoy the new family member too.

"Look what a beautiful baby!” It was the most heard phrase in there, followed by "How’s it going our future King?”

Kate felt that everybody was kinda overwhelming her son. Everybody wanted to touch him, grab him and they would make loooong speeches thousand times about the responsibility of being wife and mother of two future kings. It was such an annoying pressure!

"I can’t take it anymore, Will." She said stressed and with little George in her arms. "I want to stay one more week away from all of this.”

"But your parents weren't going on a trip this week?”

"Yes. I was thinking of staying at Emily’s.”

"Is she ok with it?”

"I believe yes. She told me that she wanted to see George e that I could call her for anything that I needed.”

"But that’s so invasive… Does she live alone?”

"Yes. She had a break up with her ex who used to live with her.”

"Talk to her. I’m okay if everyone’s ok. But just don’t tell my dad and grandma that you’re running away from them.”

"Saying it like this makes me feel like I’m a monster. I’m not running away from them! I’m just running away from that huge pressure and trying to get my son out of the center of the attention.”

"I didn’t choose to born in the Royal Family! I’m sorry if that bother you.” He said a bit nervous.

"I know, keep calm. I chose you and I love you the way you are, ok? Be calm." She gently caressed her husband and quickly kissed him.

"Sorry, I shouldn’t be all stressed near him. Maybe we truly need that week away.” He bit his lips and passed his hand through the scruff of the neck.

"I’ll call Emily. Please hold our little.”

"Sure."

Soon as they arrived at Emily’s place, at Thursday, she was leaving to work but said that they could feel totally at home and that she would return in the end of the evening.
