Bright POV

P'Aun finished the demon with one slice. Once he met my eyes twinkled. As if stars had appeared at my sides.

A worthy opponent. A fluttering butterflies swam in my stomach.

He gave me a funny blank look before turning around.

"Hold up a second! Fight me, Perfect Aun! You beat that Ancient demon!" I shouted with my finger pointing at his retreating back.

P'Aun glanced back at me.

" If I can do that..."I crossed my arms and pointed my thumbs to my face. "that'll make me stronger of all!!"

"Go back to our mission, idiot"

I winced in his responce. "What the hell?!" I screamed.

"That was an Ashram demon. Not an Ancient one" P'Aun said, untying the rope. "You can't identify that much?"

"I can tell! I never thought that creature could be one of Ash's weakest ally! " I argued.  "It was Pete who said it was strong! All I did was repeat what he said!"

I didn't realized until P'Aun tapped his hands clean and I was tied to a pillar.

I made a pig noises at the back of my throat. So quick...he was so quick tying me here. "Heeey! Come back here!"

But P'Aun kept walking. IS HE GONNA LEAVE ME HERE?

Kao POV

What do I do? I wandered my gaze over the field and the walls. The Marvel Corp's coming to destroy to the throne room but still no sign of any demons nor Ash. The Hellmouth was just right below this tower. Why haven't they show up even though we're already here? The Hellmouth was still close. Why can't we find them no matter how we search around?

Ash always attack us in unpredictable ways...We're at a disadvantage because we know little about his plan. We were just piece of the puzzle.

An image swept through my mind. The walls. It had secret passages. This is bad...I have to tell them! If I won't, this going to end.   I shot a flare signal in the air. P'Pete gave me a puzzled look. "What is it?"

"We must gather with the others, first." I said while running through the walls. P'Aun, P'Arthit and P'Third were there and several wizards with confusion.

"Did you find anything?" asked P'Arthit.

"No. Everyone search the walls!" I commanded, but their faces wrinkled up. Of course, It's not my job to give them orders. I was just an assassin.

"We saw nothing in there." said a Marvel Corp soldier.

"Inside the walls!"

To their dismay, P'Aun stepped forward. Behind him, P'Bright had a huge pillar at his back, walking slowly but none of them seemed to notice. "Inside the walls?"

I nodded. "There must be a spot where Ash could stay for a long time."

"What? Do you have any idea what sort of situation we're into?" argued another Marvel Corp.

"Think about it! The enemy always attack us in ways we never expect. If we utilize our common sense. We might win this fight!" I countered.

A minute of silence settled in all of us. Kong went to P'Bright, he put his hand over his head. He had trouble unknotting the rope.

P'Aun was the one who broke it. "Adhere to the rules you vowed, while giving everything you've got. Don't break the chain of command. The reason we're here is to stop the King of Shadows."

"Break into two groups!" P'Arthit ordered. " Kao, you go with them. You know most in the Kingdom of the wicked. Begin the search!"

They all obeyed. P'Pete came beside me. "I'll go with him."

P'Arthit nodded.

Two minutes came until one of the Marvel Corp shouted. "In here! There's a crack!" He shouted to P'Aun.

Then a sword shot through his chest. The soldier fell into the abyss. A hand clutched on the walls, revealing Ash.

"Ash!" I growled.

"Hello, Kao." He smirked devilishly, he almost swung at my direction when two iron swords stabbed into his arms.  P'Pete and Ash plummeted to the sword. Ash's eyes glowed, and P'Pete shot the grappling hook to hang himself on the wall.

Ash vanished in the ground.

"Locate the demons! Keep looking!" P'Arthit commanded. Then a thunderous rumble made my heart jump.

Bright POV

A thunder strikes the land, making the walls, and the demonoid tower tremble. The crowd responded, turning towards the field.  We anticipated...and the field had a huge crack, the debris swallowed. There, the Hellmouth rest.

"The Hellmouth." said Kong, his eyes trained hard at the mouth of the beast.

"A boulder incoming!" P'Aun shouted. Boulders hovered at the bottom of the walls.

My hand scrabbled to the ground, finding something to grab. But I caught into Kongpob's arm as  my knees shivered. "Oh God, we're not gonna survive this, are we!" I faked a cry.

"Calm down!" Kong said.

Kong POV

There were lightning. Did Prem escape? No, he didn't. He was imprisoned. That would be impossible.

Lightning streaked across the clouds. Each one sharp, vicious, and destructive.  The sound rattled in my chest, so close and volatile.  Ashram demons shedding their stoned skin. They kept moving from miles away, tight in their formation.

"We're aiming for the same thing...to end this once and for all." shouted P'Aun, drawing the sword up in the air. "Wizards or Demons! Which one will live?! Which one will fall?!"
