Chapter 36: Operation: Demonoid Tower

Kongpob POV 

At the weapon room, I spotted P'Third fixing cannon, most of the Scarlet blades were with him. Since I managed to drag myself out of my dark thoughts. I returned with May in the resort with Pink Milk for P'Arthit, a blue Slurpee for P'Pete,  Green apple for Third, Vanilla for Bright and blueberry for Kao and M. 

May had iced coffee, she parted ways with me and participated with the spell strong enough that the Ashram demons wouldn't get in.  

"How you doing?" I asked P'Arthit as soon as I placed the plastic on the table. He had been stressing out about P'Pete's double agent commission. 

"Cool." P'Arthit's said, puzzled. "What's going on?"

"I bought everyone drinks." I said. "Pink Milk for you."

P'Arthit blinked a couple of times as though maybe I'm an idiot again. "A pity party for us? Because I'm so stupid earlier?"

"I went to 7/11. Figured if you guys wanted one too. If you don't, I'll just throw it away."

I only got one step before he faltered me and took the Pink Milk. Pink colors arise on his cheeks, not looking at me. He is so cute. He sipped it without talking for a while. "Damn." he finally said, beaming. "I'd forgotten how good these are. What did you get?"

"Americano iced coffee."

The scowl returned in his face and I snorted. "You look terribly cute, you know that."

"Yuck." He said then he laughed. I like these moments with him, it's making me calm even in times of chaos.  "God, these are awesome. Glad you decided to buy for a change."

"Hey, I have my taste on coffee flavor."

Pete POV

When other wizards had to to take a break. We played uno cards and whoever loses will be chased and will be tickled. So I was chasing Third and Kao in full 360 rotation around the table with weapons because they want to. Kao losed.

"Hey, wait up!" I said. "Come back here, Kao!"

I speeded up. We stumbled on the floor, tickling the side of his body. Third joined. He kept shoving us off but I forced myself to cause more.

Suddenly, the sliding door burst open as a fake raging scream of Bright interrupted us.

"Huh?"

"Why didnt you guys invite me?!" Bright said. Our shoulders jerked as we heard his roar.

We went back on full circle, chasing one another. Bright was behind me while Kao was in front of me.

"Stop chasing us, Bright!" Kao shouted.

"Kao~~!!!" I tried to reach his shirt. I noticed Third was just standing at the corner, watching us.

Eventually we all scream. The UNO cards hovered and showered down. Good thing that the room had soundproof glass, or else people would think we're all getting crazy.

Kong POV

"Yo!" P'Pete came in with P'Bright . Quirking his lips with a smile.

I gestured over the table. "I bought you guys some drinks."

"Ah yes!" P'Bright said, sipping from the vanilla milk. Third and Kao came into the room and got their drinks. 

"Thank you" said Kao, a bit coolly. "If you guys want to start tackling about healthy teas and milk. I have a few suggestions."

"Absolutely, Kao would win a noble prize for this." Third said, smiling. 

P'Pete pulled up a chair, turning it backward so he could rest his chin on its back. "4 days...4 days the six of us have been through so much..."And on and on and on.
