Third POV

The air was thick and I tasted the smoke. Just above us, I could see a hole in the gray sky.

"Who...are you?" Kao asked in great perplexity.

"We are the ones who dwell in the underworld. I have dealt in the first war of the wizards and vampires. I once destroyed Adam's demons. I have allied myself with the new hellgod. I am the forger of demonic weapons" A hissing noise of a serpent crawled out from his lips. Lightning flashed as thunder growled faintly. The world went dark, only his purple eyes present.

"You are Arkan..." Pete said. "The hellgod of War"

"What a clever boy." The Hellgod smiled.

"Is my father worshipping you?" said Kao.

"Worship? I know that he wanted to strip down all the walls of reality! I know he wanted to summon us here so he could have one challenge!" Arkan seemed highly amused. He looked over his shoulder, to the core. "The Hellbreaker. It tore a little of our realm and gave me a way into this world."

"But this is not your realm" said Kao. "This is ours. What are you planning to do?"

The Hellgod met Kao's eyes, chuckling. "I don't know if this is the proper time to deal with you, filthy wizards. I wounded Ash's soul gravely when he was not expecting this."

"Ash is the strongest wizard. How can you possess him?"

"Strongest?" He said bitterly. "Ash's been driven mad by the mere fact that he wanted us dead. We played along with his games. Strong? Pity. Even the smartest...isn't immune to such weakness." The Hellgod smirked.

I readied my sword, Pete's metal spikes sprouted from his arms, Arthit's celestial light illuminating.

We all charged for the Hellgod.

"Enough!" He roared, sending us into the grass.

"Kao! Hurry, kill him!" I shouted.

Arkan's left a jerked forward, my eyed widened as Hellbreaker flew from his shoulder. Kong stood behind us, his shirt shredded from waist up. The Hellbreaker flew to his hand.

"A hellgod" He said.

The Hellgod's eyes narrowed. The ground beneath Kong's feet crack open. Arthit and I rushed toward him.

But Kong was steady on his feet. He sprang into the smoke, his eyes were the crimson flames like the ones that spins around his torso. He drove Hellbreaker into the hellgod's chest in a single motion.

Arkan threw his head back and screamed in agony.

"Kong!" Arthit darted foreward.

"Fools!" Arkan grunted. "You think I would tolerate you—"When he saw Kong's eyes, he anxiously said. "No..."

"Surely, you are enjoying yourself inside." Kong in a voice that made me shiver. He went upward, the blades glinting and shot back to Arkan. "Let's have some fun then!"

Kong kept slicing, but the Hellbreaker was inflicting inside Ash's body to the spirit, I think.

The Hellgod's dark violet energy burst free from Ash's mouth, eyes and ears like bugs.

Arkan screamed and the Hellbreaker strike through his mouth, pinning him to the ground.

Those eyes might be just glowing but you could sense so much fear.

"Even if you are just using your energy. It would still wound your real body" Kong hissed. "Am I right?"

Arkan raised his hand as if meant to strike but his energy crumbled away like sand. Arkan's energy seeped back into the seal's crack. The scream of the ground drowned out his words. The Earth mulled and reverberated in our feet. Arthit pulled Kong into his body as the ground fell into the Hellmouth.

Kong POV

I came back with all the voices around me. The gray black smoke swam overhead. Whites faces hovered over me. Pete and Kao. They were both looking at me with anxious expression.

I coughed, tasting ash in my tongue. "Where's P'Arthit?"

P'Pete's eyes went to Kao. "He's..."

"Is he all right?" I demanded, struggling to sit up and a hard agony shot in my head. "Where is he?"

"I'm alright." P'Arthit appeared at the side of my vision. "I'm sorry, I thought you were gonna go full rampage on that Hellgod."

"What Hellgod?" I was perplexed.

"Ash was possessed, by the Hellgod of War." said P'Pete, pausing. He flickered his eyes to me. "You made a god bleed, Kong."

I frowned at him as a nauseating pain gripped me. "I don't remember."

M and May came from the other side with the rest of the demon slayers. "It is done." He said. "And...Kong, you're hurt." M saw my expression and reached my bruised arm. Water curled around my skin, vanishing the nausea.

"Never do anything like that again." P'Arthit said. Tears streamed down his face."When I saw your face. I was scared. You scared me, Kong.

"P'Arthit..."

"I can't afford loosing you..." His voice shook. I jerked my gaze back at his face.
P'Arthit pulled me closer. Into my ears, he whispered; "I will fight for you until my last breath, Kong. You know, I will."

He drew me into a kiss and felt his soft lips against mine.

"Guys!" said P'Third's voice. "I'm happy for your little kissy celebration, but we have to leave!"

P'Arthit looked at P'Third from afar with the rest of the demon slayers. Then he looked around the devastation surrounding us.

"this is not the time for love." said P'Aun, who was looming over us. Using his wind demon slayer magic. "We should leave immediately."

There were wounded demon slayers in the infirmary. But...Bright was still unconscious, M and other healers tended to him. What shock us all was that the Queen went to visit Bright.

I didn't what was that about either my friends. "What do you think the Queen has to do with Bright?"

Third looked up at me. The five of us were seated in the lobby with P'Tum. "must be a blessing." suggested P'Tum.

"Ridiculous!" a voice said from behind. We all turned our heads. Steel.

"Curiously, Steel." P'Arthit stood. "Most of the mentors were under the impression that your arrogance made you loose in the games."

"My sole concern has always and will be the welfare of my Coven." Steel said as he walked towards my boyfriend. "Ash Knight has been defeated, I presume?"

"Yes." P'Arthit said. "Fortunately, we beat him. In hopes that no more of the King of Shadows old school thing should find its way to the innocent. He has receive severe punishments" He glanced over to Kao.

"Well, let us hope..." Steel  looked over at our direction. "That these heroes will always be around to save the day."

"No worries." I huffed. "We will."

When he was gone, i followed him down to the garden. "Steel!" He was still walking. "Steel!"

He halted and turned. "What is it?"

"I have something of yours..." I placed the bottle of Sabertooth on his hand. There are several bronze dragon heads in the path.

"Mine? What the hell are you talking about?" Steel flushed.

"I think you do." I said. "Isn't this poison? Or something that could enhance Strife's immobilize ability? I think you slipped the water bottle in M's table, that day of his game."

"You do?" The side of his mouth quirked up. Steel leaned forward, levelling his eyes with mine.
"Why don't. You prove it."

"I don't have to. It's in that bottle." I shrugged.

Steel hissed and his hand formed into metal. He lunged at me but another metal blocked him. Pete was on my side. Steel sprawled over the path as Pete deflected his offense.

He rose suddenly with mad wide eyes. "Mark my words, Marvel. One day, you're gonna meet the same tragic end."
